Title: Works exactly like Brita brand
Review: I was really hesitant to buy these filters as I thought they may not work but I was so WRONG! These are no different, they work and I will be sticking to this brand as I spend less money. If you want to stick with the Brita brand that’s your choice but mine will filter exactly the same for less!

Title: Look suitable
Review: Have only just received these so, as a new filter has just gone into my Britax water jug, I won’t be renewing until about a month’s time, therefore, can’t give an unqualified review as yet, but they look as if they will fit without a problem. Excellent value for the amount of filters.

Title: Good value
Review: These seem to work as well as the Brita branded ones that they compete with and are a lot cheaper. Currently at under £25 for 12 they are also cheaper than the usual brand of filter I have used in the past on Amazon. You do have to follow the instructions fully and make sure you ditch the first couple of jugfulls of filtered water but after that it’s all good.

Title: Bitter taste – something isn’t right here
Review: I have used a Brita water jug for years and I’m very familiar with how to install and prep a new filter. These replica filters do fit the Brita water jug well and seem on the surface to be good value for money.My partner brought me the first cup of tea made from water with the new filter and it looked lovely and clean. You could tell the filter was effectively dealing with the limescale. Then I tasted it. Urgh, my partner must have given me one of his extra-strong teabags by accident. So, I made myself another cup of tea with my mellow teabags. Nope, there was that bitter taste again. So, I grabbed two glasses and filled one from the water jug and one from the mains tap and compared the taste. The bitterness was definitely coming from the filtered water.I tried installing another filter just in case I had a faulty one and I flushed the filter more times than standard. Still the bitter taste. I’ve given up on these. I’m guessing there’s a reason these are cheap but they’re not really saving you money if they’re unusable or you have to throw away half of them just to find one that works!
