Title: Good pair of headphones
Review: Although an owner of many a pair of Bluetooth/Wired headphones I can honestly say I have never heard of IKF solo before, and to be honest they are good, not bad or brilliant just good, but that is okay for a mid budget pair of headphones.Everything is nicely packaged when it arrives and even though I became a tad worried to see instructions in a foreign language I soon became reassured once I had unpacked completely. In the box are a nice well made pair of phones, a detachable headphone, a USB c cable and a nice bag to carry Everything around with you, and finally hidden in the bottom of the box English instructions 😀The headphones are a great fit for me and are very good at blocking out noise before you even turn ANC on, made out of a nice polished material and with very comfortable ear cushions they certainly give the appearance of being a lot more costly than they are.The headphones can be used via a Bluetooth connection that is very stable or the more traditional wired one, the sound doesn’t seem to suffer too much whatever option you choose, setting up Bluetooth and anc is very easy if you have had experience of Bluetooth headphones before otherwise the notes are very helpful. Now the most important part, the sound quality! To be honest you get what you pay for and I found these headphones lacking in bass, especially as I’m a fan of rock and metal, don’t get me wrong the sound is ok just not as good as other headphones I have, but bear in mind I paid over a 100 pound more a pir for them, it’s average as I said earlier. You can improve sound quality by tapping the ANC button and navigating through the various modes and bass can be improved a bit, after use the headphones fold up very nicely and fit in the bag supplied. To sum up a good pair of headphones for their price range, very pleased as I will use these on my commute whilst listening to my audio books.

Title: A great contender
Review: Having had the chance to test out the IKF Solo headphones, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by their performance, especially when considering their price point in comparison to higher-end models like the Bose QC 45.The sound quality of the IKF Solos is commendable, offering a well-rounded auditory experience that competes closely with the Bose. While both sets deliver crisp, clear highs and mids, the IKF Solos manage to hold their own with a robust bass that enriches any music genre. In terms of noise cancellation, the IKF Solos offer a silence that rivals the quietude provided by the Bose QC 45, making each listening session an immersive escape. However, the Bose may edge out slightly with its adaptive noise cancelling, offering a more tailored quiet environment based on surrounding noises.Design-wise, the IKF Solos exude a sleek minimalism with a comfort level that makes them suitable for extended wear, though they lack the premium feel and the advanced touch controls found on the Bose QC 45. Navigating the sound modes on the IKF Solos can feel a bit cumbersome compared to the intuitive controls of the Bose, but this is a small trade-off for the significant price difference. While the IKF Solos might not boast all the high-end features of the Bose QC 45, they certainly challenge the notion that quality sound and effective noise cancellation can only come at a premium. For those who prioritize sound quality and value over brand and additional features, the IKF Solo headphones are an excellent alternative, offering a high-quality listening experience at a fraction of the cost.

Title: Plentiful features and reasonable sound, slightly awkward buttons and loose fit
Review: It is always interesting to see what you can get from a less familiar brand, often better value in terms of features but sometimes lacking polish. That is a good summary of these headphones, which offer a lot but have too many quirks for a full recommendation. What you get alongside the headphones is a dual-purpose charging and USB audio cable, and a plug-in microphone on a flexible stalk, ideal for use as a communications device. The USB audio cable means these can be used with a wired connection as well as wireless, though in wired mode the other features are more limited. The package I received did not include English instructions and I resorted to a translate feature on my smartphone to read the box. With this and a bit more research I think I have figured most of it out.The first thing I noticed when putting the headphones on is that they are a slightly loose fit for me. This is a personal thing and better than being uncomfortably clamped, but I would have preferred a more secure fit. I tried with the wired mode first and enjoyed a well-balanced sound though lacking a little in precision despite the Hi-Res audio badge on the box. The sound is also slightly lacking in deep bass in this mode, though I would rather have this than too much boom. In wired mode the ANC (automatic noise cancelling) seems to be disabled but the volume buttons on the left cup work, as does the play/pause button also on the left cup.In wireless mode it is all a bit different. The default sound is similar to wired, but tapping the ANC button (right cup) cycles through three modes: ambient where you hear everything around you, noise cancelling, and music mode. If you are in music mode, you can switch to game mode or movie mode by double-clicking or triple-clicking the ANC button. I found this a bit confusing but one of the modes gives a more bassy sound while another sounds thinner. Four clicks on the ANC button gets you the assistant function, such as Apple’s Siri, if available.Another feature is that if someone comes up to you and you want to chat, you can put both hands on the earcups, the music quietens, and transparency or ambient mode is engaged so you can hear. Could be handy if you don’t mind talking with your hands on your ears, but it might be just as easy to take the headphones off. I also heard some crackle when using this function. The headphones fold nicely for packing but there is no bag supplied. If I were able to I would give these three and a half stars out of five. You do get a lot for your money, and the sound is reasonable but not spectacular. The fit is not great for me and I feel there are too many functions packed into the ANC button which makes it confusing to operate.
