Title: Bulbs too wide
Review: Have been looking for smart G9 bulbs for a while as a lot of the lamps and light fittings in my house require them and was so excited to see that I could finally get them. Unfortunately the bulbs are too wide to fit into the glass ball that surrounds the bulb – I get they’ve to pack a lot of technology into a small object so hoping that in the future they will be slimmer for I can solve my issue!

Title: Good things come in small(ish) packages
Review: These are pretty big as G9 bulbs go, until you remember that they’ve shoehorned in full wireless control and millions of colours including warm, neutral and cool white, all dimmable from 1 to 100 per cent.As with all things these days, you’ll need the app to control them but once paired you can link to Alexa or Google Assistant and do all the controlling from there. There’s also support for IFTTT and SmartThings.There’s a lot of presets in the app to flash, fade and alter the colours, some suitable, others a bit dubious but all fun. You can set schedules, use sound-to-light, use activity-related presets and more. Brightness is good but not amazing. Probably better suited to wall lights or bedside lights than main room lights. I chose the frosted “milky white” bulbs for the diffusion so it may be the clear bulbs are a touch brighter. Also, while most of the colours are very well produced, they seem to have a bit of an issue with greens which are a bit weak for some reason. Quite an achievement to squeeze so much innovation into such a small package, now if all the companies could get their heads together and produce a single app for all of them that’d be great. These will earn their keep at Christmas.

Review: The I-SHUNFA Wi-Fi Smart G9 LED bulbs are amazing! These bulbs are incredibly versatile, offering full RGBCW colour control and brightness adjustments from 1% to 100%. I love how I can easily control them with Alexa or Google Home, making it effortless to change the mood of a room with just my voice. The dimmable feature works perfectly, and the range from 2700K to 6500K lets me set warm or cool lighting depending on the atmosphere I want. The musical rhythm feature is a fun bonus, syncing the lights with music for a lively vibe during parties. Title: Great colours – easy to connect to Alexa
Review: There is nothing to dislike about these smart G9 led bulbs.They were a straight replacement for my existing G9 bulbs in the up/downlighters around the house.They were really easy to pair up with Alexa via the smartlife App allowing me to control them with voice or the app.The colours are really vibrant and even the white light is good and can also be controlled from warm white to cool white etc. I can even make them flash along with the music.Under £20 (September 2024) with the voucher they are good value for money and a great upgrade to my home lighting.
