Title: Great for transmitting / receiving audio
Review: Perfect to stream audio from an older device or one with just 3.5mm headphone output, or streaming to a headphone or speaker set without Bluetooth (only with 3.5mm input). Easy to connect up and discreet!

Title: Works a treat!
Review: My old iPod Classic doesn’t have the functionality to support a bluetooth add-on, which I wanted to cast tracklists to my Monic bluetooth speakers. So the VHVMLAK AIR99 was a great alternative – using the headphone socket instead to then generate the buetooth. Of course the sound quality is only as good as the headphone output, but it’s good enough for me!

Title: Useful Bluetooth transceiver
Review: This is a small transceiver designed to convert Bluetooth connections to / from a 3.5mm audio jack.I was easily able to set the device up in transmit mode and pair with my Google Pixel Buds. It was also straightforward to switch to receive mode and connect via Bluetooth from my phone.I was impressed at how small the device is. It won’t add much noticeable bulk to your 3.5mm devices. It’s powered by an internal 180mAh battery which you can charge via the USB-C port on the back.My only real complaint is the process of switching and pairing. Each process relies on pressing combinations of buttons, or holding buttons for a certain duration. The LED indicator which blinks at different rates and uses different colours depending on the current state. All of this is straightforward enough assuming you have the instruction manual handy – left to your own devices you would never work it out.I also noticed quite a bit of background static in transmit mode while simultaneously charging.Otherwise, the audio quality is good and the transceiver works really well. Definitely recommended if you have older devices you want to drag into the Bluetooth era.

Title: Great product for Blue tooth
Review: I purchased this 3.5mm to Bluetooth adaptor mainly due to the fact that the built in bluetooth on my windows machine stopped working. I had the laptop looked out by my local computer shop but they were unable fix the problem….so I purchased the adaptor and when it arrived it took approximately 15mins to set up with my Apple airpods. It was so easy to do! and the sound was perfect for me. There was no sound lag at all , so very happy so far. Great product!

Title: No latency issues.
Review: Â I’ve connected this to the aux input on an old mini-hifi system that had a great sound but no bluetooth connectivity. It works great. Connection to my mobile phone was easily achieved by going through the fairly standard pairing protocol. Once this was achieved, it was just a case of streaming my music to the hifi, and it sounded great! There are buttons on the device to enable volume control and changing tracks, but I didn’t need to use these as I was able to control everything from my phone. To test the transmission (TX) capability I connected the device to the headphone output on my campervan TV. The device was then paired with a bluetooth speaker. Again, pairing was seemless and allowed the better sound from my bluetooth speaker to be used. There were no irritating latency issues, the sound matching the movements on screen.

Title: Very small and well-made, works well.
Review: This Bluetooth transmitter/receiver is so small that I lost it for while under some papers on the desk. The metal-clad body houses a USB-C socket for charging at one end, and a swivelling 3.5mm stereo jack plug at the other. In between, on one flat face are the three controls.Trying to operate this device without the instructions could be a frustrating experience. I have just spent some time trying to connect to either of two phones that refused to find the device, while the television repeatedly asked to be connected. Of course, I had the device in transmit mode, from previous use, rather than receive mode, as indicated by the blue flashing light. Pressing the two triangular buttons put it into the correct mode, and I was able to send music to the AIR99 by Bluetooth. Plugged into the AUX socket of a Bluetooth speaker, it worked faultlessly. Of course, I could have connected the phone directly to the speaker through the speaker’s own Bluetooth receiver, and I did this afterwards in an attempt to compare the sound quality. Both methods were perfectly acceptable, and produced a clear sound. It might be imaginary, but I thought the AIR99 sound slightly cleaner, but colder. I suppose this is possible, and might be due to the different DACs in play.Prior to this, I had used the device in transmit mode, plugged into a Carplay receiver, that lacked its own Bluetooth output. A Bluetooth speaker was easy to connect, and played the music perfectly. However, I did run into an issue with the Carplay receiver’s own internal speaker, which didn’t turn off, but played slightly ahead of the Bluetooth output. This is most likely to do with the jack socket in the Carplay receiver, and not the AIR99.Although something similar to the latter setup is potentially a useful way to use the AIR99 in a car without a sound system, like my old Maxi, it will probably be of more interest to most users as a receiver for phone output plugged into the AUX socket of a car stereo. In either case, even though small, it will still take up some space, and might be vulnerable to accidental knocks. And it will need to be charged from time to time, and switched on and off when used.No doubt, there are many other scenarios where this little device will be just what’s needed, and where it will repay the Â£25.49 price.

Review: Soooo much better than the bluetooth transmitters I tried on my old iPods that connected to the power port on the iPods. Plus it leaves the power port open for charging without having to remove the bluetooth function. It is smaller than it looks in the pictures and the fact that it can lie flat along the top of my iPod(s) with the flexlble connector is a huge bonus!The sound is much clearer than the power port bluetooth transmitters I tried and it functions easily and perfectly with a variety of bluetooth headsets. Highly recommend if you want to turn your early model iPods into ones capable of connecting to wireless headsets.Although I haven’t tried it, this device is also a bluetooth receiver capable of turning legacy audio speakers, that have the audio port available, into bluetooth speakers for hooking your phone’s music to larger speakers wirelessly using the bluetooth function.

Review: Im Test eine interessanter Transmitter und Splitter. Die 1. Funktion ist die eines Transmitter bzw. EmpfÃ¤ngers, so wie es gerade gebraucht wird. Das GerÃ¤t wir in eine 3,5 mm Klinke eingesteckt, das nicht Ã¼ber Bluetooth verfÃ¼gt (egal ob TV, Autoradio usw.) und ich kann den Klang des GerÃ¤tes mit meinen Bluetooth KopfhÃ¶rer empfangen. Das Klappt erstaunlich gut, vor allem ohne jegliche Zeit VerzÃ¶gerung oder Verlust der QualitÃ¤t. Sogar die LautstÃ¤rke lÃ¤sst sich durch dieses kleine GerÃ¤t regeln.Die 2. Funktion ist wirklich mal was fÃ¼r mich neues und praktisches. Eine tolle Idee, einen Splitter in sein Smartphone zu stecken, der dann die Musik auf zwei Paar KopfhÃ¶rer Ã¼bertragen kann. Bisher wuÃŸte ich nicht, dass es sowas Ã¼berhaupt schon gibt. Dumm ist jetzt nur, dass viele neue Smartphones gar keine 3,5mm Klinke mehr anbieten. Vielleicht sollte ein USB-C auf Klinke-Adapter gleich mitgeliefert werden. Ausgetestet habe ich dieses kleine GerÃ¤t mit einem Ã¤lteren Xiaomi und einem Samsung. Das sÃ¼litten klappt wirklich recht gut. Es gibt auch keinen QualitÃ¤tsverlust dabei.Der Splitter/Sender hat natÃ¼rlich seine eigene eingebaute Stromquelle. Der Akku hat in meinem Test ca. 10 Stunden gehalten. Die hÃ¤lfte der Zeit als Sender, die andere HÃ¤lfte als Splitter. Vielleicht erreicht der Akku aber noch seine maximale KapazitÃ¤t von 13 Stunden, wie der Hersteller es angibt. Ein durchaus praktisches kleines Ding.
