Our 4G router / modem only support universal ordinary SIM cards. For some locked SIM cards, contract SIM cards which operators don’t allow to use on wifi routers, or only allow to use on their authorized devices. This product may not work. Title: Compact 4G SIM card wifi
Review: We live in a rural area and had terrible speeds with inconsistent performance through the phone line, getting 5Mbps if we were lucky. We changed over some months ago to a TP-Link 4G router which has transformed our speeds to the heady heights of around 25Mbps. The other benefit is that you can simply unplug the router and take it with you when travelling – itâ€™s not especially compact however.I spotted the HOSAYA compact router, which looked like a much better option when travelling. Itâ€™s small, lightweight and with a rechargeable battery is not reliant on mains power. The construction feels a little flimsy, but set up was straightforward and the performance is as expected.

Title: Small 4G 10 seat router but arguably some problems.
Review: Arriving in a relatively small box, this little 4G hotspot/router is pretty much like the old USB sticks you probably remember, except it has a battery in it (so, hence larger) allowing you to charge it and have a portable, self-powered Wifi connection to the Internet that can fit in a pocket or backpack.Configuration of said device isn’t an issue – in fairness I’ve seen the firmware/OS used here on another larger 4g Router. User details are obvious, IP address is a relatively common one for networking and within minutes, I was able to configure and change everything via my Mobile device.However there are 2 issues with it which I found out – the first one is that it is an absolute mare to open the first time around. OK that might sound odd or petty but…… there’s a little corner where you lift it off to access the internals. I tried several things to open and pry it apart and nothing worked. I ended up digging out my spuders for taking apart mobile phones and similar to get into it (and it doesn’t come with anything outside of the USB cable). I’m not going to use a screwdriver or anything “sharp” mostly as I don’t want to incur and accident. I figured a coin might be enough to lever it up but I don’t have any to hand! ONCE it’s been lifted, all is fine, it’s much easier to pop (but unlikely to do so as once the SIM is added, probably not much reason to open it again).Speaking of the SIM – and this is a me thing but……. – it only accepts a micro SIM. My one isn’t a micro sim – it’s a nano. So that’s annoying as now I either need to get a new SIM from my provider or grab an adaptor (which although small, is still a cost). Maybe it would have been handy to have one with this given that nano SIMs are pretty much the most common in usage now. Not even sure you could use an E-SIM either (I admit, didn’t look but I don’t recall an option) so yeah keep in mind, it’s the a larger SIM type.So I’m waiting on an adaptor but if the performance is anything like the other device which is running the same software, it will be perfectly adequate.Keep in mind a maximum of 10 connections – which is enough if you’re on the move, not necessarily enough for a home with multiple phone/tablet/laptop users.EDIT – I’ve received my SIM adaptors, inserted my SIM and……. got nothing. It recognised the SIM was installed (IMEI number and everything) but never got a connection. Put the SIM in a mobile handset and got a signal. So…… no idea as to why. Maybe outside would be better but doesn’t explain 100% why the cellphone worked.

Title: Its small, connects to 4G, works fine
Review: The unit works and I set it up without any real hassle.I’ve used many of these devices with similar results, but this is quite expensive for the feature set it offers.My GiffGaff sim worked first time on 4G without issues, I was able to connect to mifi dongles webgui right away without issue and was able to change passwords etc. it connected to the internet without issue.The downsides, this may have been my phone (Google Pixel 7 Pro) But I was only able to connect via wifi at 65Mbs, the advertised speed is 150mbps, also the build quality of the devices leaves a lot to be desired, despite fiddling with the case 6-7 times I cannot get it to close properly as shown in the photos, additionally getting the back of the case open required the use of a coin which risked damaging the back cover.Given the price I expected top notch quality and performance, I dont feel as though I got that with this device.

Review: This portable WiFi router is nice and light, perfect for carrying around. Just bigger than a credit card it fits easily into any bag or even a pocket.It works well, although it does only get 4G so it wonâ€™t find a 5G connection if your sim is activated for it.Does the job well

Title: Handy travel hotspot
Review: The HOSAYA MF906 is a lifesaver for staying connected while on the go. Its compact size and built-in battery make it perfect for travel or when you need WiFi away from home. I appreciate that it supports multiple users and offers decent 4G speeds. Setup is also a breeze.However, there are some areas for improvement. The battery life could be better, especially with heavy use. It would also be great to have more control over settings and the ability to turn off the hotspot function when it’s not needed.Overall, the HOSAYA MF906 is a convenient solution for portable WiFi. If you need a reliable way to get online while traveling or away from your main internet connection, it’s worth considering despite a few minor shortcomings.

Title: Decent small portable WiFi router
Review: This does exactly what it says, provides you a 4g Wi-Fi signal that’s easy to connect to.Easy to charge out the box with supplied cable.Once you inserted your micro SIM card it just works. The biggest issue is that you need a micro SIM not nano which is why I marked it down.Build quality could be better for the price but overall happy with the product. Will be good to use a backup if the home Internet goes down or if you are out & about.
