Title: Saves money and batteries
Review: The wireless router is very useful for me during long travels with my full family where I can save not only on money but also on our phone batteries.It’s light weight, compact, easy to set up, easy to carry and has very good battery life. I can easily charge it using the usb charging cable in my car.The two small led indicators on the top indicate the network🛜 and battery🔋 status.The speed and range is also good.The only caveat is that it’s a 4G router and may get outdated soon where 5G is already common.Overall, it’s does the job and I can surely recommends recommend.

Title: No Instructions!
Review: Trying to get it going. Plugged in and charged. Sim fitted. No idea how to recognise it on Bluetooth as no instructions in box. No idea how to recognise it as Hotspot? No password either so its absolutely useless!!

Title: Works but clunky experience.
Review: The device is quite light and has one button for power and two LEDs to indicate the power and signal.You have to take off the back which just pulls off, it’s abit difficult to get good leverage on it so you need to make use of a tool, that’s not provided.Under the back cover is the battery, it’s removable and a full sized SIM card tray.The device is like a repurposed old phone with the screen replaced with a button.Since the SIM card try is full sized it’s a bit awkward using anything else unless you ordered a simcard that size or use a converter. Since sims are usually provided on smaller sizes, it’s abit of an annoyance that it’s not just simple to move from a new phone to this device.Next to the sim card tray there is a label that has all the device info, like WiFi and passwords.This is a problem because when the device is powered on , the WiFi said is not the same as the one in the label, so if you have alot of routers in your area it might not be obvious. The passwords are the same though.After connecting it’s recommended to go to the web gui to configure the device and change passwords. However the default language is Chinese so immediately to someone unaware of similar designs, it might not be obvious how to change it to English. Even once English, some of the labels are still Chinese.You may also have to provide APN settings, which just seems like it would be abit annoying for regular users.Once it is all setup it does seem to work on 4g/3g and is okay for taking trips where you might need to provide internet to WiFi only devices but most people have phones with data. I have one with unlimited data so using my phone for the same purpose seems more convenient.You could also use it just to provide a WLAN connection between devices.To be honest It is a difficult one to try recommend and you’d need a specific use case for this but it does work, with a clunky user experience.

Title: Light Portable & Stable The Router Does It’s Job But Is Limited By Hardware & Baked In Features
Review: The Add to List HOSAYA 4G LTE WiFi Modem with Built-in Battery was supplied in a small generic looking cardboard box with a Hosaya sticker on the front. When removed from the packaging, the contents were the 4G Router a USB A to USB Micro (not USB C which is a shame) and a small instruction manual. The actual router is very small and light, measuring just 970 x 60 x 14mm and weighing 112g on my scales and thus the unit is very portable. In terms of technical specifications it is limited to 2.4ghz wireless connectivity for any device connecting to it, and 4G LTE, it also uses a mini SIM rather than a micro or nano so is likely an older model.In terms of using the unit, you need to first install the SIM card which you do by lifting the back off the unit via the small recess for a finger or thumbnail, taking out the battery and installing the SIM in the SIM shaped recess provided, then replace the battery. In my case I had already charged the unit ready for use so you may need to do that if you are using it for travel. You can power the unit on using the button at the centre of the Routers top which has an LED either side of it – one for power/battery and the other for the 4G signal – it will light up ready to be used and you will now get a 4G connection. The manual will now be useful to you to allow you to connect to and configure the Wireless SSID and password etc.The router worked first time for me, and we have subsequently used it when travelling with no issues, being 4G it is not super fast, but it does the job intended, it is also pretty well built and as mentioned very light and portable. I would prefer USB C and 5G but since this looks to be an older model it was built for and fit for purpose back in the day and you cannot quibble when newer features are not available on older equipment.

Title: Portable 4G router that is perfect for going abroad and you can use it on the beach
Review: This is a pretty good portable 4G router that I am finding useful when we go on holiday.Going abroad for a couple of weeks means that I need to sort out stable connection so I can work.Having a router like this helps a lot as I can take it everywhere and there is no need to stay indoors to keep using it.Wherever I go I always get a local 4G Data SIM card and use a router like this to share the network.With this 4G router I can share the network with my whole family and stay connected even around the swimming pool or on the beach.The 4G router has a built in battery that will last ,but I personally always have a power bank around me to get it plugged in.The router seems to be good quality and so far it works well.Hopefully my review was Helpful for you.

Title: Super for travel
Review: Rather than paying expensive roaming fees we decided to take this on holiday and bought a local SIM card in the USA.This enabled both of us to connect our smartphones to it , and we were able to use it on the move as the signal is pretty good wherever we went in that part of the world.So this is great for travel not least because it’s really tiny, and very light weighing next to nothing.It’s definitely saved us loads of money on roaming plans and although I think there are lots of other uses for it that’s what what we used it for.As such for that particular purpose, I can highly recommend it- definitely worth 5 stars.
