Review: This is a well made hook wrench. I love that the hook is retractable. Saves space in the tool bag.I used this to turn the suspension pretension on a motorcycle. It worked nicely even though it was a bit big for mine.Appears to made of cast chrome vanadium. The fastener pin is also good quality.This is the kind of tool you need when you need it and not much else will work.

Review: The HFS C Spanner Hook Wrench Tool is solid steel and pretty strong.The forging is a bit rough, but that does not detract from the strength.The handle is long enough to have good leverage when adjusting long springs.The loose hook allows spans from 2 to 4 3/4 inches which is a wide range. The hook has a good clean edge for grabbing. The pivot is a bit too loose for my liking, but it is functional.OK tool and good to have in my toolbox but if I used it every day I would get a set of fixed sizes instead of this loose jawed multipurpose one.

Review: For the small applications for which this tool is intended, it’s very bluntly cast and a pretty bad tool. It’s thick and strong for its size, making it super durable. I had to grind part of it down to get it to fit the springs on an EV scooter.
