Title: A good iron, aside from one starting hiccup
Review: I’m not a fan of ironing but there are some times where it’s required – so something cost-effective is always appreciated.This iron has been working solidly for me on shirts and trousers. It’s pretty light and appears to be of decent to good quality, so I have no complaints there at the price point this iron is at. I had some initial issues with the spritz function (it wouldn’t spritz!) but the iron seems to have ironed out (no pun intended) those issues and now it works perfectly every time.As someone that irons very sparingly i’m very happy with this iron but somebody who does it regularly may appreciate something a bit more upmarket. For the budget concerned though you can’t go wrong with this.

Title: A good size, and heats fast.
Review: This is a nice hefty steam iron. Not so heavy as to make a good bout of ironing difficult, but itâ€™s certainly not a lightweight flimsy one.It does everything you need an iron to do well.It has a option to use steam or not, and also a steam burst button for stubbon areas.There is a water spray as youâ€™d expect for something gentler than the steam burst.The water tank is huge. I put in two fills of the little jug that it comes with and it didnâ€™t come close to half way on the water tank.It has a self clean function also.The plate on the bottom is ceramic and smooth, and the cable is long with a swivel action so you can switch hands for difficult to reach bits.It heated up fast, and held itâ€™s heat for awhile when turned off.Not much more to say – itâ€™s an iron and seems to be a good one 🙂

Title: Lightweight and efficient
Review: This classy looking steam iron is lightweight and very practical to use.It comes with a guarantee and is reasonably priced.Easy to clean and small enough to store.I haven’t yet used the steam function, as I usually don’t use it when ironing so can’t comment on that. If I do, I will update my review.

Title: Poor
Review: The iron itself is great for ironing clothes too the creases out of my wife’s work uniform with ease. Plenty of steam and has different heat settings. However when lying it flat after use water runs out of the holes in the baseplate. I realised this when I found a puddle on the floor by the rack I store the iron in. Not sure if it’s just this iron or if the rest are like this but it wasn’t great.

Review: This is ideal. Product seems solid and well constructed, Itâ€™s light weight with a good heat range, heats up within 30secs and holds a fair amount of water, removes creases in no time.The operating instructions are easy to follow, fairly straightforward to handle, good length flex, suits me fine being on my own. Does a lovely job overall.Great iron, effortless, good steam, reasonably priced. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a middle of the range steam iron that is nice and compact.

Title: Lightweight, easy to use and from an established US brand
Review: Iâ€™m really pleased with this iron.I donâ€™t have an iron so Iâ€™ve got nothing to compare it to, however, itâ€™s easy to use, lightweight and heats up very fast. It glides smoothly over the fabric and I particularly like the dry iron function as Iâ€™m a little scared of steam ironing and I know I would forget to empty the water tank after use.Itâ€™s a basic iron but I love that you can use it with or without steam and you can also use it vertically. Iâ€™ve never heard of the Hamilton Beach brand but they seem to be well established in America so Iâ€™m confident that Iâ€™ve got a decent product at a very affordable price.I would definitely recommend this iron as a starter iron or as an inexpensive spare iron.

Review: Pretty decent and efficient.Could do the ironing much quicker with he powerful steam shot.Slightly light, hence a little force is needed for pressing.Also good for vertical steaming if needed.Lovely colour and easy access steam and spray buttons.Clearly labelled heat dial for various material.Handy self clean function with generous tank.In line with similar iron at under Â£20.
