Title: Great curl, hot curling wand with good safety features.
Review:  Very hot 230° curling wand! It took approximately 2 minutes to reach the highest temperature of 230° after turning on and selecting the desired temperature. This is quick! And this is also very hot! If you have healthy hair then this is a relatively safe option for styling hair, however, I personally don’t require the heat this high to create a curl that will last, so would recommend a cooler temperature of more like 190°. In fact, the digital display shows the words, healthy, damaged, and fragile at different temperatures to help you determine which temperature to use for your particular hair type. This is quite niche and helpful for new starters to heated curling wands. The cord is very long which is excellent! Over 6ft and the corded end of the wand rotates 360° which has made styling comfortable and less fiddly. There is a large 2cm tip at the end of the wand which stays cool so that you can use two hands to style, the glove which comes with the curling wand I’m not too sure about, when I touched the heated barrel at full heat, it kind of stuck to the barrel and left a mark on it which I have had to try to clean off, I wouldn’t recommend using them, or at least, wouldn’t rely on them, but it might make you feel a little safer wearing them just in case you accidently knock your knuckle or finger tip against the hot barrel when using. The curling wand comes with some basic instructions, which I did find I needed because the wand isn’t as simple as turning on and getting on with it, if you are not quick enough, the buttons lock, so you have to hold the on/off button for a couple of seconds before you see the unlock icon then you can choose the temperature. This lock feature is quite helpful as at times it is possible to accidently press the buttons when trying to style, especially whilst you’re doing the back of your head hair. I do also like the safety feature of turning off after an hour, I would almost prefer this to be more like 30 minutes as if left, they could do a lot of damage in one hour! Regardless, this curling wand is really good, fantastic heat range, quirky features and the curl is perfect! They’re nice to handle and are very good value for money!

Review:  My new curling tongs have not let me down ,they heat up quickly very hot but my hair is very thick and it gave a good firm curl that holds in very well.Easy to use, hot straight away. The glove protection is vital as this gets hot in the matter of seconds.Curls my hair exactly how I want it to.

Review: I bought these as I needed a cheap curling wand for a night out, with the intention of adding it to my uni kit as I’m doing SFX makeup artistry + hair. I’d lost my old ones in a house move.The curlers actually tell you which heat is good for which hair type on the little screen. So when you choose 150-160 it tells you it’s for fragile hair. 170-200 is for damaged hair, and 200+ is for healthy hair.I have damaged hair so I chose 180 as I didn’t want to go to the maximum of damaged hair.I thought this was really clever and I love the concept!They come with a glove, which I thought was sooo handy as I’m always burning myself 😂.The heat locks when you don’t touch the buttons for a few seconds, so that you can’t accidentally change the heat setting whilst curling your hair.The cord is a swivel cord, too!Now, the instructions say that the curlers go off after an hour of not using, which I think is too long. BUT.. I turned the curlers off and they didn’t go “off”. I went on my night out and my husband text me 6hrs later telling me that he’d gone to grab something and the curlers were still roasting hot. So they’d been on for 7hrs in total. They hadn’t gone off when I turned them off, and they also hadn’t gone off after the “hour” as the instructions state.. which I think is dangerous.I’ll continue using them, but I’m going to connect them to my Alexa plug so I can turn them off via my phone as I don’t trust that they’ll go off.I’ve dropped two stars due to them not turning off – I think this is quite bad. But I’ve left three stars as they did make my hair look really nice, they’re easy to use, I like the heat functions and the lock, and I like the swivel cord as well as the glove that comes with it!

Review: My hair is already a little wavy so I accentuate them with this curling tong, I wrap the strands around the wand according to their natural waves and on a low heat for 10 seconds. This results in a bouncy curls which last for the day easily.The wand is ergonomic and easy to use with a long power cord. A useful heat protection glove is included for extra safety.It also looks super elegant and feels high quality.
