Title: They work
Review: Used them in my DeWalt screwdriver and the drill cut brilliantly. The tap part then went into the thick aluminium and that caused the gun to hammer as it bit into the metal. Bit scary first time but actually drilled and cut a nice tight thread. Reversed gun and it came out easily so all in all, makes a good job. Haven’t used this in hard metal so can’t comment on that. On steel, I would go back I think to a drill and hand tap.

Title: Work really well
Review: This set of 6 titanium coated drill bits is used for drilling holes with screw threads in wood, plastic or metal. I used it in my Bosch cordless drill on low (screw) setting and tried it on some wood. It worked perfectly. The drill initially goes through the wood and then the threading part goes through more slowly until it reaches the end and comes to a stop. Then just hit reverse and gently remove the drill bit. As you can see from the pic it leaves a nice thread on the inside. Although the bits are hex shaped they didn’t fit my Bosch hex driver so I used the keyless drill attachment which worked fine. Handy solution for my diy project.
