Title: Very heavy, very warm and very comfortable.
Review: I could only order the 130 x 150cm duvet, which is probably only useful for an older child, or a UK pensioner who needs an extra layer of warmth whilst watching TV, because they’ve had their winter fuel allowance taken-away and are too proud to ask for it back; but it did give me a chance to test the 15-TOG rating, for which I’ve never had the opportunity to experience before.What I can say is from the out-set, is that this is a ‘heavy’ duvet.It does cling to you, and could feel quite suffocating if you are the sort-of person who usually prefers a light and fluffy duvet; or just isn’t used-to it.I initially started only using this duvet to keep my feet warm, as I am in the ‘only’ room in the property where the radiator doesn’t work. I only get heat in that room from the remainder of the house’s central-heating when the door is left open; but since that’s not possible at-night, there’s typically no heating in this bedroom, at all.So, whereas you might normally need-to ‘close-off all the cold gaps’ with a light duvet, the sheer weight of this duvet (at this small size) is heavy enough to do that for you. It only then comes-up to just above my waist; but it is tremendously warm by comparison-to my typical duvet.It’s well-made and well-finished; so, I’m not concerned about this falling-apart, etc.But as it’s too short for me, I’m now using just ‘2’ of the corner-ties to ‘somewhat’ keep this duvet in-place, to create a very comfortable ‘base’ layer for my upper body; and also, I clearly got too warm using this 15-TOG duvet, as typically by the morning, I’d discarded it.So, I’ve repurposed this very well made, very warm, (if you opt for the 15-TOG) and also very ‘heavily’ comfortable duvet. It really is very good.

Title: Heavy duvet – ideal if you like weighted blankets
Review: Upon receipt, I was struck by how heavy this duvet is, so I put it on the scales to check. I then realised that the listing even states the weight of each duvet size, which is very useful information.I ordered the single size 15 tog duvet for my daughter for winter. I did worry that it might be too heavy for her (she’s only 7), but she actually really likes it.The duvet is lovely and warm. It does spring to life when unwrapped and is thick, with a nice soft cover. The duvet is stitched throughout, to ensure that the microfibre filling remains evenly distributed.Personally, this duvet would feel too heavy for me, as I prefer something more lightweight. I tend to sleep on my back, and I hate the feeling of my feet being flattened by the duvet. However, my daughter loves it. It’s ideal if you prefer something with a bit more weight to it.

Title: Light and Warm Duvet
Review: The single sized duvet came tightly rolled in polythene and when unwrapped the polyester filling is compressed somewhat and it needs time to expand. I left it the recommended time and also gave it a shake which helped it regain it’s thickness. The stitching was fine and the filling was evenly distributed in the frame like panel and the square central panels that make up this duvet .I liked the pure white fabric and the loops and corner ties that can fix the duvet to a duvet cover to prevent it bunching up. I found the duvet to have a good combination of both heat retention and lightness and I would say it is perfect for keeping cosy and warm on a cold winters night.
