Title: It was brilliant on hair that has never been dyed before and easy to use
Review: I have honey blonde hair which was originally more ginger, but has never been coloured before, but on one side it is losing its pigment and becoming very white. I didn’t want a permanent dye so bought the caramel light which seemed to match my hair colour. I was concerned it said for brunettes on the bottle but took courage and tried a small section of the white hair. The result was amazing it matched perfectly! ! I have now used it on my whole hair and I feel 10 years younger! Regarding the bottle I unscrewed the cap and squeezed a small amount in a dish. No problem!

Title: NOT COPPER DO NOT USE
Review: I recently died my hair ginger/copper and have been looking for something to refresh the colour in between dying. I saw this advertised and thought the colour seemed pretty decent, and the added benefit of shine and gloss would be the cherry on top. I used it on my hair for 5 minutes (I shampooed my hair and let it sit whilst I washed/shaved, and made sure it was evenly distributed), and ended the shower having fire truck red hair… not exactly ‘copper’ as advertised. If you are looking for a RED hair mask, and aren’t adverse to brighter/less ‘natural’ hair colours on yourself then I would say this product works great. But if you’re looking for something with a natural, copper finish – then this isn’t the product for you. I have washed my hair 4 times and it is now FINALLY getting back to a natural ginger shade, instead of the red that I was left with. NOTE: be careful around ears/hair line/hands as this definitely stains, and make sure you brush the product through thoroughly otherwise patchiness WILL show

Title: Average product, saw no real difference
Review: I bought this to try as had seen many advertisements on various platforms. I read some reviews before my purchase and was excited to try it. However, considering my hair quality before/after 3 uses, I have to be honest: I saw no real difference in my hair. I have 3 deep conditioning products for less than the price of this product that suit my hair better and that visibly add more gloss to my hair than this. I don’t think the product was bad per se, it just wasn’t amazing for me. I won’t buy it again but it was worth a try.

Title: Amazing!
Review: My hair had faded quiet a lot after a motorcycle trip & having previously having had a blonde face frame which was dyed over chocolate brown, I used the chocolate brown gloss and it’s amazing, it’s glossy and back to a lovely all over colour. Highly recommend !

Title: Glaze Auburn Spice
Review: My natural colour is quite dull & boring but I don’t really want the expense or hassle of regular salon visits, so I tried this. I used to absolutely love Superdrug Colour Effects Rich Red but sadly it was discontinued. At first I tried the Brilliant Bronde Glaze (after taking the quiz on their website) and that made absolutely no difference, but this shade took to my hair better. It’s a subtle difference but it’s definitely noticeable when my before & after pics are viewed side by side. I will try a second application as maybe you need to build the colour up a bit and perhaps I didn’t use enough, but as my hair is very fine & flat I didn’t want to use too much, as conditioners always weigh it down. I wore gloves to apply it, as instructed, so I didn’t find it messy or staining, but I wish it only took 5 minutes to develop instead of 10, as I applied it in the shower after washing my hair and was then just sort of waiting around to rinse it off. I agree with other reviews that it’s a bit tricky to squeeze out of the bottle, but it will be good for adding a little vibrancy to my natural colour as & when desired.

Title: Difficult to use bottle, very messy and stains! Update after continued use: Causes hair to go green!
Review: I saw all of the fantastic reviews about this product and said I would give it a go.I will agree with the fact that the bottle is troublesome to use, I followed the example of the reviewers who just unscrewed the cap. The conditioner itself stains a lot and you definitely have to wear gloves and be careful with it. After washing it out, I had to scrub the shower.However! The color is beautiful. It covered my hair nicely and left them so soft and smelling lovely.If the bottle was easier to use I would give a higher rating. The conditioner is too thick to go through the pump!Update: After several uses, my hair went green and it has been very difficult to remove the pigment, even after a color remover and lightener my hair has a slight green tint. If you want to use this, make sure to neutralize the tone of your hair first in order to prevent a pigment clash and the resulting of green hair.

Review: A lot of the low reviews came from people who did not choose the correct shade for the results. I used this product twice once when I spontaneously went temporarily red after being blonde for years and it dyed my auburn glossed a great shade of red. It took a few months for it to fade but I didn’t mind. I went back to my usual very light blonde and I use the pearl blonde every few weeks to make my butt-length level 10 hair less yellow and more icy between my hair painting sessions. It’s great for both the color which is nicely subtle (I leave it in for longer each time) and makes my hair really soft and feels like I just came back from the salon. Highly recommend it! P.s. My hair is very straight, Slavic texture, and pretty thin and it works well on my hair type.

Review: I really damaged my hair with bleach removing my black hair dye. I used Auburn Spice and left it on dry hair for about 40 minutes and my hair is not only transformed in its color, but it feels SO healthy now. Both pictures are air dry with no product so it looks really dry and frizzy , but I promise it doesn’t feel that way! The color is very even considering what I started with was NOT. I did use almost a full bottle but for what I was trying to achieve I think that’s okay. I have already ordered a second bottle for maintenance. My only complaint is that I wish this was in a jar or a squeeze tube because it does get very difficult to get out nearing the end, but not worried enough about it to dock them a star. My suggestion is to put a few drops of very hot water in the bottle but not enough to dilute it, shake it up, and then squeeze it out.EDIT 7/6/24: I have washed my hair 4x, the water/soap is orange but the color has not budged from my hair at all. I did do a second application today to touch up the roots since I did feel after my last shampoo it was a little too fire truck red. But I was wrong in my original review and definitely think I have enough to do my whole head again!

Review: I had been to the salon about 2/3 months ago – twice – and was thoroughly unhappy with my results (once for the first session, second time for the correction). I went in for a purple ombré but instead received toned roots and a smattering of purple on my mid-lengths-ends leaving me looking like I was trying to grow out an old dye job… It can be a challenge finding a stylist that you jive with in a smaller town… I wasn’t ready to dish out the bucks to get my hair re-done somewhere else yet again so I did some research on alternatives. I am not new to color depositing masks, conditioners or washes. I was in love with Moroccan Oil’s color depositing masks at one point, but they didn’t quite leave my fine hair feeling soft and the deposit washed out a little too quickly, unlike Glaze’s product! I can say with confidence that Glaze’s Sleek Espresso is worth every penny. It took my purple stained ends and level 5/6 medium/light brown hair to a beautiful level 3 dark brown throughout. I can still see some of the purple peeking through my ends which is fine since color can’t lift color, but it’s effectively made it less noticeable. I couldn’t believe how even the color came out all over my head. It’s extremely soft and healthy looking too.I would 1000% recommend wearing gloves while applying and instead of using it like a conditioner or mask (like I did, in the shower), apply it like you would a mixed semi-permanent hair dye, emptying the contents into a bowl first, wearing an old raggedy shirt with an old raggedy towel around your neck – old school style. The process is messy and your hands will get stained, though I am glad to report that it did NOT stain my tub or the skin around my face/neck/ears. I left it in my hair for around 15 minutes. Washing it out was easy and the washed out pigments did not stain my tub either.Now, I don’t have a whole lot of hair and it is quite thin, so one bottle could easily last me about 2/3 months, so for me personally this product is worth it. I am hooked!
