Review: Geepas Steam Station Iron | Steam Generator Iron With Large 1.2 L Detachable Water Tank:Probably not the most exciting colour choice but this turned out to be a nice well built iron and steam station.I’ve only used it a few times to prepare my shirts for interviews and the process has been pretty straight forward. The chord from the base to the iron is firm and is unlikely to be damaged easily through wear and tear but its firmness also means that it can get in the way if you don’t unwind it first.Its been a while since I have had to do so much ironing in one go that I ran out of water from the irons little tank. With this, 1.2 litres will certainly go a long way.My item arrived as new but looked tampered with which was maybe a quality control attempt.I am happy with this item.

Title: Water tank is excellent and iron is great on lightweight garments – not so good on thick material
Review: The design of this Geepas ‘Steam Station’ iron (£64.99 at review) is excellent. The chord length both between the base and wall socket and the base to the iron is excellent. The chord between the iron and base behaves itself quite well(!) being quite straight – it’s easy to keep out of the way.The water tank is the best I’ve used on an iron. It holds 1.2L, is easy to detach and attach again and something a lot of these get wrong – it’s easy to fill! The opening is wide enough to hit the target from a tap for once.The iron is quite lightweight – this is a mixed blessing. It means it’s easy to handle and great on lightweight garments. On my daughters school shirts (where she wears heavy duty ones) this took a lot of effort to get the creases out – even on the hottest setting and applying constant steam.For general use though I think this is a worthy purchase.
