Title: Perfect oven gloves
Review: These are my second pair of gloves, first pair used mainly outdoors for BBQ, where as these will be used indoor for oven. The heat they can take before you feel it is fantastic, I’ve picked up a glass Pyrex dish from oven at temp of 240c and carried it to trivet tray with no problem.

Title: Good protection… but not for too long!
Review: I always used to use the kitchen-style double oven gloves or a mitt for moving stuff around on the BBQ, but you lose flexibility with no fingers. These are great as you get your fingers back again! The only downside is that that you can’t hold hot things for too long as after about 10 seconds you feel heat coming through – you just need to be quick!Overall they perform well and are now my go-to BBQ gloves.

Title: Best designed of the ones I tried
Review: These are comfort to wear and the best of several I tried for use ithe kitchen. You will find them bulky but much less so than the completely cilico exterior ones. And not suitable fro holding er very hot oven metal racks for longer tha the few seconds take the oven to counter,because nfabril wildo that.but the lumps of silicon e help with heat resistant. And hughly with agrip. Good safe grip. AND THEY ARE WELL DESIGNED AND COMFORTABLE unlike another brand tried. I also tried this brand complete silicone exterior. But these are best for kitchen and I’m glad I found them. Think they are pricey, but the Chinese exporters have found they can sell their stuff at higher prices. And anything well designed made in UK is also pricey.

Title: They fit a man’s hands!
Review: These are the ONLY heat resistant gloves I’ve found to fit my hands! I’ve tried on so many pairs it’s a joke. I’m only 5’10”, I guess my hands are large-ish but they’re not massive. I’ve been to so many cooking shops and hardware stores and every pair of heat resistant gloves I’ve ever tried on have been ridiculously small – I couldn’t even get my fingers in, let alone slide them onto my hand! However, these fit PERFECTLY! I use them in the kitchen all the time and are great when turning things over in the air fryer or removing hot tins. Just ordered a second pair for my father for Christmas. If you’re buying these for a man, you’ve got no worries.

Review: The gloves fit well, allow much better handling than mitts but they do not offer the advertised protection, especially if even slightly damp.They can withstand temperature all right but not for as long as advertised, at least for my experience.Still worth buying if aware they won’t protect in the more extreme circumstances (like working with a pizza oven) as they do work much better than oven mitts, at least in my experience.

Review: I purchased these gloves based on the reviews to use with my Kamado Joe. They performed as expected. I was able to handle very hot items with no problem. But getting them on is another matter. I’m 6’6″ with large hands. It was extremely difficult to even get them on. It was like trying to squeeze a 36″ waist into size 34″ jeans. I can be done, but not easily. And not very comfortable even if it’s possible. I’m keeping them for my wife to use in the oven, but just ordered the BlueFire Mitts in XL size. Hopefully, they will fit my hands better.

Review: WHAT I LIKE:âž Good grips – Each glove has a series of blue rubber (maybe silicone?) pieces on them that provide a very solid grip of whatever youâ€™re holding. This is particularly useful for things like cleaning the grill with a brush, where you need to apply strong pressure.âž Good quality – The material itself feels good quality and durable. The workmanship that went into the gloves also seems very good.âž Comfortable – Iâ€™m an adult male, and have a bit larger than average hands (I usually wear L or XL size gloves). These gloves fit me well. Theyâ€™re perhaps slightly tighter than Iâ€™d like, but not uncomfortably so, and not to the point where it significantly restricts movement of my hand. But if you have very large hands, they be a bit of a tight fit. Conversely, if you have particularly small hands, they may be a bit loose.âž Great dexterityâž Relatively good breathabilityâž Effectively protects your hands from heat – I use these mainly for the BBQ, both while handling food on the grill and while cleaning it after (on high heat). They do a great job keeping my hands from burning while doing this. I also like the fact that they extend quite far down my arm, giving me more protection than a typical oven mitt would.âž The material used (Kevlar) supposedly also protects from cuts, which is nice to have when using them to work in the kitchen or when preparing things for the BBQWHAT I DONâ€™T LIKE:âž Some oven mitts Iâ€™ve used are made out of a silicone-like material that makes them waterproof and super easy to clean. These grill gloves are not made out of such a material, so if they get wet the water will get soaked up, and if they get dirty (from touching food, for example), it wonâ€™t be just a question of quickly wiping them clean (although they are supposedly machine-washable). But I suppose the advantage of this material is that itâ€™s more flexible and affords you more dexterity, and also breathes better.
