Title: Great kettle. Stylish and functional
Review: Very pleased with my kettle. Easy to set up and use. The temperature control is really good as you can choose a temperature setting instead of heating everything to boiling.The tea/coffee caddy that’s included is a bit of an unecessary gimmick which I’ve never used but it’s easy enough to just remove it. I imagine making tea in the kettle would leave a lot of brown staining.As it is the kettle looks great after about 2 months. The blue light looks good and is also handy as a safety warning that the kettle’s on. The bleeping isn’t that intrusive and let’s you know what’s happening. Longeity remains to be seen but it’s a great addition to the kitchen so far.

Title: Perfect until it stopped working after a month of having it
Review: At first we loved the new kettle and the temperatures you can have on it. A month later it now boils to 100Â°c and you cant get a different temperature but what is most concern is that is continues to boil after it reaches the temperature and doesn’t stop until you unplug it making it a fire risk and a risk to my children. This stopped working 2 weeks after the return period ended so it’s turned out to be a waste of money and now having to buy a new kettle

Review: … First off, it’s a great kettle. Good capacity, fairly quick to boil the water. You can set the temp, so you can do 100 for tea but 85 is good for coffee. I sometimes make the tea in the kettle.If I had kept the manual, I’m pretty sure it would have kept the tea at a constant temp for a period of time. If I’d kept the manual i might have discovered if there is a way to stop all the beeps too.Yes folks it beeps. It beeps when you set it down on the pedestal. It beeps when you set the temp, it beeps when you switch it on. It beeps when it reaches temp and swtiches off. It beeps when you pick it up, it beeps when you put it back down again…. and then it beeps to let you know that it’s finished beeping until the next time you use it.Because I threw the manual away without reading it, I don’t know if it’s possible to mute the beeps. If you buy one, please let me know

Title: Looks smart and does what it supposed to
Review: I liked the transparency, it was my most important feature when buying a new kettle this time. I had my last plastic one nearly 10 years and fancied a change.i love the fact it lights up blue, and like my Bosch kettle, it has the ability to change the temp, ideal when I’m in a rush to work and need my tea fix without having to wait for it to cool or scold my mouth. I find 85 perfect for a nice hot quick brew in the morning, can neck it as quick as a beer on a hot summers Saturday evening ðŸ˜€The keep warm feature I wouldn’t really use, just don’t sit on your backside once it’s brewed and you won’t need to keep reheating it.The cons about this, the lid has to be removed to be filled ,not sure how many times the cheap plastic rim will alow this to be done until it breaks or wears so much the lid doesn’t sit securely, but we will see.The tea leaf holder, not used yet , i have taken it off, as I am under the impression like a cup, after time ,no matter how many times you clean it, tea will stain, and then the kettle will look dirty forever and I don’t fancy bleaching it. Just make a brew the old fashioned way. And that’s it.. its a kettle, it boils water and i bet I won’t last as long as my Bosch but you get what you pay for I guess and this time I went cheap as chips, so alls good ..

Title: It thankfully broke early
Review: We liked the clear body and lighting when heating. We didn’t like the lid having to be removed from the body and often came apart in our hands. We hated the loud high pitched noise indicating when we had placed the kettle on the base AND then not used it straightaway. We hated the loud high pitched noise that indicated that we had switched it on to heat and then again when it had finished heating and of course would beep again if we had not taken the kettle off the base within a short period. Basically we hated the high pitched beep that cannot be turned off. Oh and to top it off – the glass vessel broke. Thankfully no one was injured. NOTE: I almost forgot that the very rough finish to the plastic guide that the cable is fed through almost cuts the cable and beware of the small amount of sheet metal at the inside of this guide as I nearly cut my finger on it. Can’t think I have ever given such a poor review to anything before.

Title: It’s a kettle
Review: Was a little dubious about this kettle but had to get one fast. Our old kettle had died its death but was out of stock.Pretty impressed with this. Fast boil, not noisy as comments suggested. I have arthritis in my hands but the lid is so easy to take off. Love that I can make a full kettle of tea and keep it hot for fill ups. Price was very good for what you get. All in all, performance is brilliant. Nothing we don’t like about it. Would I buy again, yes without a doubt.
