Review: I had high hopes for this cleanser looking at the ingredient list. The first ingredient is an amphoteric surfactant which is what you want to be using on your face. The second ingredient is a gentle anionic surfactant. That’s the ideal combo to use when trying to cleanse the face without stripping it. My skin is super oily, but can get crazy dry if i over cleanse and strip my face(which all “gentle” cleansers seem to do). This cleanser seems to take off a decent amount of surface grease, dirt and build up without completing destroying the acid mantle layer. I feel clean but not squeaky clean. After showering, my face doesnt get super tight after 10 minutes and so the cycle of over producing more oil to compensate has finally been stopped. It’s not perfect, i think it could be a tad bit more gentle but its the best ive tried so far from any company.EDIT: For those debating between this and vanicream’s “gentle” facial cleanser-for some reason i found the gentle facial cleanser to be harsher and more drying-resulting in overdrive oil production.
