Most household water pitchers do not filter fluoride with their basic activated carbon filters, however here at Klar Water we have developed a new type of water filter that not only filters up to 95% of fluoride and other impurities but also does so quickly with an extremely quick filtration rate.

When I was looking for a water filter, there were some essential must-have criteria that I wouldn’t compromise with a lower price product. My water filter jug must be able to:1. Filter fluoride effectively2. Removing most of the heavy metals and chemicals3. Replenish with essential minerals, as pure water is bad for the body4. Efficacy must be proven by reputable 3rd partiesThis Klar water jug does all of the above with reasonable costs. When I used it for the first time, I could immediately tell that it removed all the weird metallic taste I had previously found in my tap water. The filtered water has a nice natural sweetness thanks to the presence of the minerals, making my coffee, teas, and even babycinos taste much better. My 6-year-old son loves the taste of the water, and he drinks much more water after we use this filter. I think the water is more hydrating too.The design of the jug is pragmatic. The filtered water is nicely separated from the tap water. They wouldn’t mix even if you are trying to pour the filtered water out from the jug, while some tap water is still yet to be filtered on top. I like the timer on the jug cover. It reminds me of when the filter needs to be changed. The design also fits nicely with the rest of my kitchen appliances. I’m not putting it in the fridge. However, if you prefer cold water, the rectangular design saves space.Overall, it’s an excellent investment for my family’s health that won’t break the bank!

Title: Better tasting water. Well fitting parts.
Review: Impressed so far. Have used mine for around 6 weeks refilling several times per day and it still appears to be functioning very well. My tap water has a distinct plastic taste which is much worse in warmer weather, (assuming its from these toxic plastic pipes the water companies are using) but this filter eliminates the plastic taste completely even though the water filters through very quickly. Also, the jug has no plastic taste or odour. So, water, teas and coffees taste all the better. I have even had some improvement of a long-term chronic illness since I started using this although I could not be certain this helped, it might well have done, after all, microplastics aren’t exactly good for your health.The filter unit fits very precisely into its hole and the lid also fits nice and tight so no falling off. Everything else about the design is good too. The non-slip base keeps it stable, handle is comfy to use, the simple valve on top makes it easy to refill and it pours out well while the flip lid over the pourer protects from contaminants falling in when stored. I give it a good wash and dry weekly and have had no issues with any cloudiness or mould. For me, the electronic thing on the top is a gimmick and I would have been quite happy without that being there.Its a pricey one for a water filter but from my experience this is a better unit than cheaper popular brands I have tried, especially scoring on removing the plastic taste from water which others have never done.

Title: Budget friendly alternative to a Reverse Osmosis system.
Review: Trying to live a clean lifestyle in the 21st century is no mean feat. I needed a budget conscious solution to access water free of chlorine, fluoride and other contaminents – enter the klar. First impressions were great – an instant difference in taste and texture, pure and clean.The built in timer is easy to operate, running on a 60 day countdown which is the alleged life of the filter – however, I found mine started to lose efficacy in under half that. The included literature does state mileage will vary with use, and I do drink 8 full glasses a day – however, I would have liked to have made it to the 30 day mark before noticing a drop in quality (no pun intended).As for the construction, glass is always preferred but at this price point to have PFA free plastic is adequate. The door on the top of the lid works well, however the seal of the lid itself could be improved – frequently I have found water leaking from the chamber when filled to capacity, so this is something to watch out for.Given that a reverse osmosis system is an extremely costly investment, and in some cases impractical, the Klar is an excellent filter system at this price point and is incredibly portable. Leaky lid and low filter life aside, it still annhialates rival competitors such as Brita for it’s filtration abilities alone. I’m giving it a solid 4 stars, and hope to see an improved version soon.

Title: Fantastic water filter / Fantastic company
Review: Had this Klar water filter since August 2022. Couldn’t live without it, our drinking water is so much purer, filtered through the Klar, as opposed to other systems we’ve tried. Like I say, I purchased this in Aug 22 but recently the lid developed a fault in so much as the little flap at the front came off. I got in touch with Klar directly and the sent me a replacement lid out the same day. Amazing product and amazing company. Highly recommend.
