The seal is manufactured from heavy duty ABS silicone and serves as a replacement part for Fissler Vitavit Royal pressure cookers.
The Black O Ring for the base of the control valve fits all sizes of pressure cooker models from the Vitavit Royal range up to 1998.
Easy to replace: loosen the control valve unit from the lid and remove the old O-ring. Place the new O-ring in the intended notch around the thread – O-Ring must be positioned tightly all the way around.
Depending on your usage frequency of the pressure cooker, the O-ring on the valve socket should be replaced every 2 to 3 years for the perfect cooking experience.

Review: Ring passt einwandfrei bei ca. 25 Jahre alte Topf meiner Großmutter.Die Angabe auf dem Produkt, dass der Ring nach 2 Jahren bzw. 400 Kochvorgängen getauscht werden soll kann ich nicht bestätigen, er hält deutlich länger.

Review: 圧力は掛かるもののメインバルブから蒸気漏れする様になったため、20年近く使用して初めて交換しました。新品と比べて長年の使用でゴムが硬化しており、この状態で良く使えていたなと感心しました。メインバルブのナットの精度が高く、Oリングに均一に力がかかっていたのでしょう。改めてフィスラーにして良かったと感じました。
