Title: Very beautiful to look at, but won’t stop boiling after temperature reached
Review: I was very sad to return this kettle. It is stunning to look at. The pour is slow (perfect for Barista), but it has two defects that we quickly spotted. Firstly, once it says it has reached 100 degrees C, it never actually turns off. This is potentially very dangerous. Even when you take it off the “base” and put it back again, it then starts to boil again. The other issue is an on/off button that is quite temperamental, and rather hit and miss as to its functions. Sadly therefore, it was returned within 3 days.

Title: extremely practical
Review: We really like this little kettle and use it all the time. It keeps the water hot if needed and the temperature control is flawless. There is even a snake game for those who enjoy a quick play while sipping their cuppa.I really hesitated to give it five stars but there were two concerns: 1) the pour is very slow and is something that should be considered. 2) The issue that bothered me even more and that resulted in the four – instead of five stars is that there is a consistent smell of plastic when pouring the hot water in a mug. It appears not to be very strong since my partner cannot smell it but I still find it to be unpleasant and a little concerning.Other than that it is an excellent choice and I would definitely recommend it.

Title: This very expensive kettle Stagg kettle broke after 4 months
Review: bought the Stagg kettle on 16 August because of the nice aesthetic. It’s made in China and the quality is obviously not up to scratch. I tried to ask the manufacturer to send a new one but they referre by back to Amazon. Amazon’s fully automated ‘customer service’ doesn’t allow me to ask for exchange of replacement. Their system is very difficult to navigate and it is next to impossible to speak to a real person. I have totally had it with chatbots and automated responses.Do NOT buy this productðŸ‘ŽðŸ»ðŸ‘ŽðŸ»ðŸ‘ŽðŸ»
