All surfaces must be clean, dry and dust free. All loose or flaking surface coatings, and old sealant should be removed before application. Glass, metal and aluminiumshould be cleaned with a proprietary solvent cleaner prior to application for optimum adhesion.

Cut the tip of the cartridge taking care not to damage the thread. Apply nozzle and cut cleanly at an angle of 45° with an opening slightly larger than the gap to be sealed.

Apply using a standard sealant gun. Best results will be obtained by keeping an even pressure on the gun trigger and keeping the gun at a constant angle to the surface being sealed.

Smooth down within 15 minutes of application using a sealant smooth down tool. This product cannot be overpainted. Any painting should be undertaken before applying the sealant.

Title: Normal high Everbuild quality
Review: I only want do do those nasty messy sealant jobs once so I try to use quality sealant, and for my money this is it. Right thickness so easy to use and relatively low odour. Do yourself a favour though and use a silicon spreader tool for a smooth effective seal.

Title: Good quality silicone sealant for DIY tasks at home
Review: I bought this to replace the silicone seal around my shower and bath at home as they had started to become discoloured with mould growth. This is an easy job – plenty of youtube tutorials that will explain the process. Using the silicone from a caulking gun was very straightforward. It set quickly, leaves a neat finish, and so far has not gone mouldy in the last 5-6 years. When the time comes for similar jobs in future I will not hesitate to get this product. Only loses a star as there are cheaper products out there.
