Title: Wood stove flue sealer
Review: Much better than fire cement, which cracks and falls out. I use it after sweeping the flues and thus disturbing the joints. It would probably be even better for original assembly of stainless steel flues, where it could be put right into the joint.

Review: Worked well, not the cheapest and I did ask for it to be stopped before it was dispatched, this was not noted by the seller and still sent out.So now I’ve tried it and yes it works, but I’m now giving away to others so it used before it goes off.

Review: A great product, I used it to seal around a redundant chimney inspection plate (this was made from thin metal and would leak smoke), the chimney is actually accesses via the baffle plate in the grate, as it turned out (I realised this when rescuing a stupid bird which flew down my chimney and got trapped). Anyway, long story short, bird flew down chimney, attempted rescue via inspection plate (eventual rescue via baffle plate). loose inspection plate, smoky leaks. Application of this stuff-no more smoke.Always make sure to get your chimney cleaned and get a CO, CO2 detector.

Review: Well worth the money,sets great and quick,so don’t mess about, use surgical gloves.And safety wise, my pal who was a plumber used to lick his finger to smooth out silicone,he died of silicone poisoning after so many years so please be aware.
