Title: What a great find – a MagSafe charger and stand in one small device. Brilliant!
Review: This is now my bedside iPhone charger, which just lays flat and acts as an easy-to-use battery topper overnight. Because it’s MagSafe there’s no fumbling around in the dark trying to get a connector located or ensure a wireless charger has lined up properly. Just let it click into place, gotta love those magnets, and you are golden. But, and it’s a huge but, that’s not where the beauty of this thing ends. The kickstand on the underside remains firmly in place until you unclip it, and then you have the perfect bedside stand to watch videos on the phone. The metal construction is very solid indeed, and that includes the fold down stand clip which, after many months of usage, shows no sign of getting loose or falling apart. I’ve become a great fan of ESR, high-grade items with a seemingly faultless (in my experience at least) quality control process behind the scenes, and delivered at a low cost to the customer. One of my best iPhone purchases to date, who would have thunked it – something so simple yet so transformational. Have I said brilliant already?

Review: The charger works really great and has already exceeded my expectations.With an 18W adapter from Apple my iPhone 14 Pro was charging really quick, so I wouldn’t expect any drawbacks in terms of charging speed. Long, braided cord is a very nice addition and helps with routing the charger to just the right place on my desk.I was also plesantly surprised to see that my Apple AirPods Pro 2 charging case snapped to the charger, allowing me to charge it too without additional accessories (I’ve had no luck charging my Apple Watch, which is understandable given how this charger is not meant for that purpose).The magnet is incredibly strong, to the point where you are less likely to knock your phone off your desk because of how well it sticks to the charger. Both with and without the MagSafe case, my phone’s attachement to the magnet was solid. This was very reassuring, knowing I won’t be able to place the phone in the wrong spot and not charge it, as it always adjusted itself on the base thanks to the strength of the magnets.Overall, this is a great charger and I’m very satisfied with the purchase.

Review: Update to my review, December 13, 2023; After writing a review of the wireless charger I was surprised when the company contacted me to inquire about the problems I had with the charger getting very hot and making my phone very hot. They offered a full refund! I was very surprised and very pleased that they actually stand behind their products. This a company that cares about their reputation and the satisfaction of their clients.They also offered to send me the new version. I received them in the mail and the first tests show that they work well, charging the phone without getting overheated. They do get warm like others I have tried but not hot like the first version I had.Good product, Great company!December 2, 2023; I purchased these in June when I was very busy so I opened the packaged and tried it out for a few minutes to confirm that they worked. They stick to the phone very well and started charging immediately so I put them away for later when I had time. In November I now had time to set up our home office so I took them out. I found that once again the magnets latch onto the phone very well and the phone starts charging immediately. After about 15 or 20 minutes I checked to see the state of charge and that is when I noticed that the phone and charging pad had gotten very hot. The next time I tried it the same thing happened and this time the phone got so hot that it stopped charging. The message on the phone said that it paused charging until the phone had cooled.I hope that this charger has not damaged the battery in my phone!No I do not recommend buying this charger!

Review: This charger grabs the phone and stays put, even while the phone is in use. Also, it is thin enough that it doesn’t effect my grip or operation of the phone. The braided cord seems to be well made and should last a long time. It charges pretty quickly, though not as fast as a wired connection. However, I expected that would be the case.Overall this is a great charger and I am very happy with my purchase.
