Review: The configuration of colours is fairly straight forward, following the included manual was pretty easy to get it setup how I want. I’m not one for crazy colours, but it has exactly that if you prefer. I don’t think it has the ability to completely customise each individual key separately and save custom profiles like some other boards provide (Razer for example) – but that’s no bother for me personally.The board itself, the shell, is a nice rubbery-plastic, and it has good heft to its weight, it feels solid.With it being both wired and wireless, this board can sit on your desk with a custom USB C cable, or be taken with you and a laptop out on the move.

Review: I’ve had a couple Epomaker keyboards now and I’ve yet to be disappointed. This is another solidly constructed and fun to use keyboard that offers immense customisability.The first thing I noticed about the keyboard was the sheer weight of it. The metal body sits inert on the desk, completely immune to any accidental shifts and wobbles while typing. The powder blasted surface is satisfyingly cool to the touch.The design is quite simple and minimalistic in form for a ‘gaming’ keyboard. The included keycaps have a readable font, though unfortunately they’re not shine-through.The RGB LEDs illuminate the keyboard evenly and offer a bunch of options for patterns and colours. My only RGB related irritation is that there’s a strip on the right that just cycles constantly through a set pattern, when I’d prefer to to just match the colours I’ve chosen.The switches actuate on a fairly light touch, making them good for gaming and typing. They’re not as chocolatey as the Graywood V3s on my other keyboard. They’re certainly thwocky and have a satisfying feel and sound. There isn’t much unwanted movement in the switch and they all seem to have the same amount of tension. There are a mind boggling array of keycaps and switches that are compatible with this keyboard, but I’m quite happy with how it is for the moment.The volume/mute knob works nicely and is genuinely useful, though I’d have preferred stronger tactile feedback on the button click. It’s a bit hollow which isn’t in keeping with the other more luxurious aspects of the keyboard.Connectivity is good, with an included dongle and usb-c cable. The dongle hides under a cute magnetic panel.Recommended if you want a satisfying to use, heavy, and durable keyboard.

Mais le poids est conforme Ã la description du produit (donc pas de suprise) et c’est aussi ce qui lui donne sa robustesse et l’impression de tenir un objet solide entre les mains – mÃªme si vous ne le tiendrez pas rÃ©guliÃ¨rement en main (c’est un clavier, pas une raquette ^^).Le potar pour rÃ©gler le volume est trÃ¨s bien.La rotation est crantÃ©e. Un clic pour ON/OFF le volume. Ã‡a fait trÃ¨s bien le job.J’espÃ¨re juste qu’il sera plus robuste que celui que j’avais sur mon ancien Corsair (qui avait fini par rapidement tourner dans le vide sans modifier le volume du pc).[SENSATIONS]La sensation de frappe et le son des touches sont parfaits pour moi (j’ai optÃ© pour les switchs “Petal”, appellÃ©s “Blossom” sur le site officiel). Ce fameux “Thock” qui sonne plutÃ´t dans les basses, un peu assourdi, et cette sensation “creamy”.Je suis trÃ¨s content de ce premier kit de clavier customisable et je ne regrette pas du tout mon achat.Pour cause, je prend plaisir Ã taper sur mon nuveau clavier pour vous Ã©crire ce commentaire. :)Je ne l’ai pas dÃ©montÃ© pour vÃ©rifier ou modifier les diffÃ©rents layers Ã l’intÃ©rieur parce qu’il me convient trÃ¨s bien comme Ã§a.[CONNEXION]La connexion au PC est trÃ¨s simple, via bluetooth ou le wireless, et les explications du mode d’emploi sont claires.[RGB]Concernant le RGB, l’intensitÃ© lumineuse me semble suffisante, il existe quelques options mais je suis de ceux qui se cantonnent Ã une utilisation assez classique : couleur unie statique.Vous pouvez modifier le pattern, l’intensitÃ© ou switcher ON/OFF avec un raccourci clavier.[LOGICIEL]Ici c’est le point qui me chagrine un peu.Il me semble que la plupart des claviers EPOMAKER sont compatibles avec VIA, le logiciel le plus connu et le plus utilisÃ© pour configurer vos claviers, remapper les touches, crÃ©er des macros, etc.EPOMAKER fourni gÃ©nÃ©ralement (sur leur site) le fichier JSON nÃ©cessaire pour connecter ses claviers au logiciel VIA.Mais pour une raison qui m’Ã©chappe, le Galaxy70 n’a pas le droit Ã ce petit fichier indispensable (ou alors il est beaucoup mieux cachÃ© que les autres ^^).Du coup vous devez utiliser le logiciel d’EPOMAKER.Il n’a pas l’air horrible Ã utiliser, mÃªme si je n’ai pas vraiment de recul dessus, mais ce serait un excellent atout d’aller dans le sens d’une compatibilitÃ© avec les outils plÃ©biscitÃ©s par la communautÃ©.Personne n’a envie d’installer plusieurs logiciels Ã chaque changement de clavier, et encore moins dans le cas oÃ¹ on possÃ¨de plusieurs claviers.C’est un point qui peut faire fuir les personnes les plus investies dans le hobby de la customisation de claviers.Enfin, pour les francophones qui se questionnent sur l’expÃ©rience du QWERTY :EVIDEMMENT, il faut un temps d’adaptation, et je pense qu’un petit entrainement quotidien sur une app de test de rapiditÃ© de frappe sera une bonne solution pour celui ou celle qui veut accÃ©lÃ©rer l’installation de nouveaux rÃ©flexes.Pour information, vous pouvez faire des accents avec un clavier QWERTY, Ã condition de le configurer en anglais “Etats-Unis Internationnal”. Ã€ ce moment lÃ il suffit d’appuyer sur ” ‘ ” suivi de “e” ou “c” pour faire un “Ã©” ou un “Ã§”. MÃªme chose pour le “Ã ” et le “Ã¨”, mais en appuyant cette fois sur la touche ” ` ” juste avant.C’est un coup Ã prendre, clairement. PAR CONTRE, vous pouvez faire des accents en majuscule beaucoup plus facilement qu’en AZERTY.Donc il y a du mieux, et du moins bien. Review: This is just a fun keyboard in every sense of the word. I was actually not expecting much, but I was so happily surprised that wow! it feels great and the sound takes me back to childhood when yes! I actually used to play marbles with my friends!It’s heavy – really heavy – but I like that as it stays absolutely put on the desk, and even when I use it in my lap it’s fine. It’s just surprisingly difficult to pick it up one handed if I don’t grab it just right. Actuation requires a very, very light touch and on occasion I’ve accidentally triggered multiple presses of a key if I rest my fingers on the keyboard. On the flip side, it allows me to type so much faster than keys that are a bit heavier – it took a bit of adjustment but now I really dig it. The sound, as I said, is *truly* marbley and just delightful to listen to!In terms of looks, I’m a bit torn about the color as the gradient is very pretty but not really my style. I primarily chose this model for the shine through keycaps (glyphs on the side) and that works *great* when I have the backlight on. The backlight patterns are far more pleasant and soothing than I expected, too.I personally need a rest to use this comfortably due to the height. I have not tried the software yet but plan to as not having end and insert functionality is a strange choice, since home and delete are there? Hopefully I can replace page up/down with end and insert, if not I will live but I think this is really the only thing I can complain about.Oh! I didn’t get any extra keycaps – for me no problem as I use windows, but if you have a mac you might miss these?All around recommended, especially for the price!
