Review: I’ve been using the Edifier W830NB headphones for a while now. For anyone considering a pair of wireless, noise-cancelling headphones that strike the perfect balance of performance and value, these are definitely worth a look at.First, the standout feature is the impressive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC). The -45 dB ANC capability, ideal for use on a plane, in a coffee shop, or commuting. I can finally enjoy music etc without background distractions. The sound quality itself is excellent too, with clear highs, rich mids, and deep bass that doesn’t feel overwhelming.Battery life is another area where these headphones shine. With up to 94 hours of playtime, depending on use, ie noise cancelling will reduce this, as expected. This makes them especially handy for long haul flights—no more stressing about finding a charging port!They’re also super comfortable. The over-ear design, combined with plush cushioning, makes these headphones easy to wear for hours on end without any discomfort, the fit is secure yet gentle.Portability is a bonus as well. Despite their over-ear design, they fold up compactly, so they’re easy to stow away in a carry-on or backpack. Title: My new everyday headphones
Review: These are amazing for this price point. The size is perfect for my head and ears so they’re super comfortable to wear for a long time. I like to use the ambient sound mode when I’m out and I find that it works great, I can still hear when people talk to me and I love that I have that choice. I really can’t fault them, they sound awesome (I use the bass boosted mode) and the charge lasts a long time. Never had any connection issues, it pairs instantly for me.

Title: Excellent quality for a fair price
Review: Very stylish looking set of headphones. First time trying an Edifier brand product but I’m very impressed at the quality you get for what you’re paying.Very easy to pair, lightweight and comfortable, simple buttons, good ANC and has an app to sort out your EQ if you wish although I find the sound fine straight from the box.Comes with charging cable, easy to follow instructions and warranty card in box.

Title: Light, comfortable and sound good
Review: HiFi purists may want something more, but then you’ll pay a lot more to get it. I don’t find anything lacking about the sound quality listening to a lot of music and PC gaming. I wear glasses and find these headphones very comfortable to wear for hours at a time. I haven’t tested how long they last between charges, but despite getting a lot of use, I rarely need to recharge them. These are the best headphones I’ve bought so far, despite being half the price of the last few I’ve used from well known brands, so they’re an easy recommendation.

Title: Calls aren’t brilliant
Review: It’s such a shame as I really liked the look, feel and sound of these headphones. I bought them mainly for work and teams calls. I used them for two days and got told that they could hear me but the quality was not good, sounded very tinny. I sent them back and will look for something more capable when it comes to calls.

Title: My new dailys
Review: These give much more expensive sets such as Sony’s xm line a run for their money. Battery life at 96 hours is not far off the truth. The true mind blower is the sound quality, these are actually quite analytical using the LDAC codec they can be relied upon to give a decent sound. You can tell they’ve trimmed the bass back a bit to help with battery life but the resulting sound is punchy and well formed, it has no issues with sound separation or muddyness. It’s really quite a pleasant sound that won’t disappoint some most more forgiving audiophiles.You can ofcourse pair to more than one device at a time but you will need to lose the LDAC at this point. They also function pretty damned well with gaming, it seems a shame you (as of yet) are unable to enable the surround sound option on anything other than your phone via the app, unless ofcourse if you game on your phone then great. Would be nice if the setting could be saved in the headset itself and carried across to other platforms such as the switch.That said functionally these are definitely awesome, ease of use on the headset, and via the app is great and intuitive and gives you access to quite a far ranging equaliser.You will definitely be bouncing with these, just don’t do what I did and take them into work, I involuntarily started singing and dancing, naughty naughty.
