Title: This is the best Eco Styler I have used
Review: Let me start by saying my hair is low porosity, very thick and kinky with coarse tiny fractual and spiral curls, it is also very dry.Now for me the Blue Eco Styler beats the Argan Oil(yellow with red writing) and Olive Oil(light green with dark green writing) Eco Stylers. Both of these Eco Stylers leave the condition my hair feeling rough and dry – compromised if you would, both when in and after I have washed them out, but with the Blue Eco Styler, my hair feels okay.The Argan Oil and Olive Oil Eco Stylers left me with hard crunchy hair, and would flake when I applied a leave in conditioner on top. This Blue Eco Styler gel gives a lighter hold as in my hair has flexibility and movement and is not crunchy to touch, it does not flake, and gives my curls a lovely shine.With the Argan Oil and Olive Oil Eco Stylers I find I have to use a lot more product to get curl definition, than I do with the Blue Eco Styler.If there was a down side it would be that it takes my hair a long time to dry. For example I did my wash and go on a Thursday afternoon and still had damp patches on parts of my hair by late Friday night! I think this is because Eco Styler Blue is made for colour treated and damaged hair. Either way I like this very much. Also the vendor was very good and the product arrived on time and was well packaged.

Review: Was excited to use this product but disappointed as all it does is turn your hands/fingers blue and doesn’t hold the hair down for long, a couple of hours. Will be going back to using standard ECO gel red or green lid. Somewhat disappointed with product.

Review: UPDATE AS OF 10/31/2013: Eco Styler decided to go and change this level from a 5 to 10 hold! Which means they have added yet another 10 hold to their product line. I simply don’t understand why Eco Styler continues to make all their gels level 10s. I get people have complained that both the green and clear formula have a smell people’s noses don’t agree with. However, I can’t help but feel disappointed by the change. I liked this formula because: A) My curls were defined and B) My curls felt good to the touch and wasn’t as at all crunchy like the 10s left my hair. The only times I like to use the level 10s is when I’m putting my hair in a bun or mixing it with oils for mini twists. Thankfully I do have a few more 16 oz jars and one 32 oz and after that no more for me. Other than that this level 5 and the level 7-pink (which is now an 8 as well) are now a thing of the past.******************************************************I’m recently using this level 5 for my birthday…man this is really good! Im still on my level 7 flow; but the 5 hold I’m not using a moisturizer, oil or leave-in to soften gel from drying hard. After trying 4 ESGs over the last 3 years I think their ingredients focus more on the concentration than changing much of the ingredients in general. I’m loving the blue and pink for my curls.

Review: I use this gel on top of Paul Mitchell THE CONDITIONER. i am natural and my hair is about 5-6 inches long. Defines my curls and definitely hold all day. Like all gels, it tries with a crunch, but it is okay if you scrunch your hair with your hands.I use it almost everyday after I cowash. Will purchase again. It arrived quickly and in excellent condition.

Review: This medium hold gel works great for wash n go’s it contains glycerin(a humectant) which normally pulls water out of the atmosphere and attracts it to you hair. However, it will do the opposite if the dew point is too low, namely it will draw water from you hair out to the atmosphere. Overall I really like this gel I apply it directly to freshly washed hair on top of my leave in conditioner of choice. It leave’s my 4b curls soft but with some hold.
