Review: I have had one of these for donkeys years and bought this one as a present for someone. They’ve got lighter weight over the years with a plastic and metal frame now instead of all metal.It’s ok but I can’t see this one lasting as many years as my old one

Review: Guts me to write this as I am proud to to be from Sheffield the City of steel where Eclipse have made quality tools for generations.But the hacksaws I purchased were terrible quality. Everything on it was a sloppy fit and the threads were downright nasty and badly cut. I suspect they are made in China. Also bought the small hacksaw same story, the blade fixing screw was rattling around in the packet and would not even engage into the frame. Utterly useless.Bought a Bahco one instead good quality, good feel and well balanced. Never buying Eclipse again it’s just rubbish.
