(as of Jan 03,2025 14:42:45 UTC – THE PC38X IS BACK IN BLACK – Our gaming headset PC37X is an upgraded version of the popular PC37X, offering a higher level of comfort, production quality and sonic performance. To celebrate the name change from Sennheiser Gaming to EPOS. It is the same iconic headset, with a refined look to complement any setup. Featuring the precise drive found on Sennheiser’s acclaimed headsets GSP 500 and 600, the PC38X delivers vivid sonic detail with an ultra-wide frequency range. It is also easier to drive than the PC37X, thanks to a reduced drive impedance of 28 ohms. On the outside, a plush headband with breathable mesh-knit cushions and a split design keeps you cooler and better supported for long sessions. Both knit mesh and classic velvet ear cushions are included, so you can choose your favorite fit. Finally, for enhanced compatibility, the PC38X comes with two cables: a 3.5mm TRRS cable for mobile devices and consoles (no adapter required) and a split cable for PCs. LOCATION ACCURACY: A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE – Simply put, the PC38X helps you hear enemies and sense your surroundings more clearly. Thanks to its angled drive and open back, it offers better stereo imaging and location accuracy, allowing you to identify exactly where enemy movements, bullets and incoming threats are coming from. The drive comes from the same family as the Sennheiser GSP 500 and 600, two of the highest quality gaming headsets on the market. They offer better quality at low frequencies than the original PC37X, making your games and music feel more lifelike than ever before. CLEAR, AMBIENT-FREE COMMUNICATION – The noise-canceling microphone harkens back to microphones originally invented for pilots as part of Sennheiser’s first compact microphone project. The microphone is designed for high-volume, short-range recording and optimized for dealing with unpleasant pops and hisses; great for Zoom calling and video chatting. In fact, many games today are recorded with Sennheiser equipment, which speaks to the quality of Sennheiser’s microphone capsule. Plus, you can mute the microphone by simply turning it up, which gives a satisfying click so you can feel when it’s muted.

Title: Aesthetic, high quality material, Excellent sound. Surpasses many gaming headsets.
Review: I bought this headphone after watching many reviews and headphone comparisons. I can tell you that this is far far better than any SteelSeries, Razer or any expensive gaming stuff. I also looks casual so you don’t look like an alien while wearing it. DROP + EPOS is a side brand of Sennheiser anyway so don’t expect something bad, they are the leaders in sound market.

Title: Perfect replacement for Sennheiser PC 363D
Review: This replaced my Sennheiser PC 363D as my daily headset practically because it is identical, and that’s a good thing. I prefer an open ear headset so I’m not deaf to my surroundings and I will be honest this is a disadvantage in any FPS. But the sheer quality of sound and comfortability easily makes up for it.

Title: Outstanding – near perfect product
Review: I’ve used these at work for a year now, because I don’t like being sound-isolated from my surroundings, and I don’t like shouting on Teams calls. These headphones are near perfect. The only thing I miss is a USB adapter, but I just use the one off my old Hyper-X headphones!

Title: Exceptional
Review: The audio quality is really good, it is so much easier to pinpoint locations when listening in games. They are comfy, and the push up to mute on the microphone is a good feature. I’ve taken to using them for work too. It’s plug and play so they just work

Title: VERY NICE HEADSET WITH A DESIGN FLAW
Review: USED THESE DAILY FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND WAS GREAT UNTIL THE MICROPHONE LITERALLY CAME LOSE IN THE MIDDLE AND WENT FLOPPY (UNUSABLE) – VERY SAD TO HAVE TO STOP USING THESE.

Review: Bought the headset 30th December 2023 and as of today September 5th they no longer work well, they have developed a loud crackling sound. Ive checked all the cables unplugged and replugged it all still the same.I figured id be able to return it since its not even been a year then seen the return window closed on 31st Jan… 1 month warranty?Quality issues aside, they dont noise cancel well at all but they do provide better positional sound in some games.
