Drop forged from chrome vanadium steel hardened, tempered and chemically blacked for corrosion protection. For crimping cable ferrules in most automotive and electrical applications. Crimping stations; 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.5, 2.5, 4.0, 6.0, 10.0 and 16.0mm². Moulded grip handles.

About us

Draper Tools was started in 1919 when the founder, Bert Draper, sold government surplus and tools in markets around the Kingston Upon Thames area. This led to the purchase of the original warehouse, from which the Draper Tool Company Limited as we know it today was born, although at this time it was known as B. Draper & Son Limited.

Review: I used it to crimp wire rope for my garden espalier apple trees. It works, with a bit of careful aligning of the rope and crimp in the jawas of the tool. Best to wear thick gloves because the force you need to exert can bruise you hand and possibly break a bone if your unlucky

Review: As most of us who’ve bought cables will know, the ferrule usually has 2 dot crimps, one either side. If you attempt to double crimp, the ferrule flavors slightly and won’t fit adjuster or abutment.Crimp once, lovely job
