Customers like the quality, ease of opening, storage space and value of the portable tool box. For example, they mention it’s well made, robust and long-lasting. Some appreciate the smooth mechanism on the levers. That said, they say it’ll hold all their screwdrivers and DIY stuff.

Title: Excellent tool organiser
Review: I have two plastic flip lid tool boxes, they are decent enough but they suffer from the fact that no matter how big they are you sometimes can’t get to the tools you want easily because they are all lumped together. The small items like thin screwdrivers tend to fall through the bigger tools and settle at the bottom so you need to unpack everything to get at them when you want them. Not the end of the world but annoying none the less. The plastic catch broke on mine recently so I had a look in the DIY stores and the selection was poor and over priced. Traditionally styled cantilever box are not that common these days and they tend to be expensive so I jumped at this when I seen it on Amazon. Price wise at a tad over 25 quid it is excellent value for what you get and it is made from a sturdy metal coated in a blue finish. It is quite roomy without being huge, the cantilever action is smooth and it has a hole for a lock on the top if you need one. I have always liked Draper tools and the fit and finish on this very good, it feels like a quality box and it is worth every penny.I ordered it on Friday and received it in perfect condition on Saturday thanks to Prime. By the evening I had the tools transferred from my old box and I find this one works really well, the trays allow me to keep one just for screwdrivers, one for pliers and electrical things and so on. Everything is easy to see and get at with bigger tools like the hammer and saw in the bottom where they should be.I can’t fault this toolbox on either price or quality and i will be buying another for my computer and audio bits like leads and jack plugs. I tend not to buy toolboxes often so it was worth buying something decent and if you are after a good sized quality box then this is well worthy of your consideration.

Review: I love this toolbox and think it will last for years to come. Very smooth open close action and strong handles.

Title: Great value for money
Review: I bought this as I much prefer the cantilever tool boxes to the lift out tray type as it makes optimum use of the space available. Made from steel it is sturdy enough for household use and lots of storage. In fact the it would be easy to overload it with heavy spanners and wrenches to the point where it gets too heavy to easily lift. Only downside is there is no divisions in the cantilever trays so had to find sone small containers for washers, screws, etc. For the price great value for money.

Title: An Excellent Tool Box.
Review: As a professional mechanic I appreciate the convenience and portability of a cantilever tool box like this Draper product. However, I am very disappointed with the quality. This is probably a rogue item and I have had the misfortune to receive it from Amazon. After unpacking the box and checking it over I could see that one of the hinges was misaligned and one of the lids did not open fully. I thought I could live with this slight defect, loaded it up with my tools and disposed of the packaging. After a few days I decided that I did not like the fact that the hinge did not open completely and hang alongside the tray, out of the way. (Other boxes have rivets to attach the lids and they take up more room). Unfortunately, Amazon’s return policy for this item means that I will have to put up with inferior quality and negative thoughts every time I open it. Otherwise this is a very good tool box.

Title: Excellent, traditional tool box design.
Review: It’s been a good number of months since I bought this tool box and it’s withstood a fair bit of hauling. Worth noting however, that I’m not a tradesman; I’ve only subjected it to Sunday wear. The powder coating does scratch off a bit and the hinge joints look like they want to gather rain.Levering action is as good as ever — though I do tend to go overboard with the oiling. There’s a lot of room inside, that I’ve only just managed to fill up with all my hand tools, minus the hand saw, which was just a bit too long. My only complaint is that the toolbox is now a bit on the heavy side. I’m sure you’ll agree that this isn’t a fault of the design, but rather a testament to my squirreling skills.Highly recommended for organizing your tools at home and moving them between homes/workshops.

Title: poor design
Review: Well enough made, but I had not realised the handles will not fold down – so it wastes storage space.

Title: Well packed, arrived very quickly and just the job!
Review: Nice and roomy for my tools, plus coils of wire in the base. Well built, arrived quickly and good value. The automatic opening when pulling the handles apart is a very good feature, that we noted before purchase from others. We are pleased to have bought this size as our particular use would have been denied by the two smaller toolboxes of the Draper range.

Title: Not impressed with quality
Review: Not impressed with the build quality or finish of this “quality†tool box. The top doesn’t fit together properly and the paint finish on the sides is blistering and the paint finish is very shabby. It also appears to be made with very poor quality material.I expected a reasonable quality tool box as it was £50 and a branded name but got a load of rubbish!!
