Review: I should bought a pair of these years ago. It’s cheap and very useful, work’s every time, lock’s on the hose clamp releasing the grip so you can slide it back with ease.

Title: Wish I’d bought these earlier
Review: Have spent years using a pair of bullnose pliers for undoing hose clamps and narrowly avoiding problems when they inevitably slipped. Turns out there’s a specialist tool for doing them – who knew?!With the geared locking mechanism you can work in tight spaces and the pad gave me confidence the clip wasn’t going to fire off, which was always the problem with the pliers if you removed the clip from the hose and tried to get it back on afterwards.Should be in every home mechanic’s toolkit.

Title: Super handy for car hose clamps, works amazingly well.
Review: I normally use needle nose pliers on the hose clips, but having used a pair of these a few weeks ago i had to get some for myself, they make it so much easier to get the clamps on and off safely, without the pliers slipping off.These ratchet closed to hold the spring clamps open and when you are done you can press the lever and slowly release the handles to let the clamp apply pressure.They seem rather well made and hold the clamps very well with no fear of slipping. They came coated with a light oil to stop any rusting.
