Review: I was pretty surprised by how much water and moisture this was able to extract. I had it going for 3-4 hours in my kitchen area with the AC turned off about half the time. So it was probably around max 77-79 degrees and around 55% humidity, hot, and a bit uncomfortable, but not as bad as a unit that has no AC at all. and this thing still extracted 2 or 3 glasses of water worth of moisture, as the compartment was about 1/5 full. Just from running it for a few hours, and I even had the AC on part of the time. Very impressive.The downside…is that it pumps out a lot of hot air as its doing what its doing. So if you run it on high, it will definitely get ridof moisture, but if you happen to be near it…it will also be pumping some (not humid) warm air on or near you. so while I wanted to run this in my kitchen area, it made my kitchen pretty warm while running it. It was odd that the humidity went down, and I actually felt cooler, slightly, with warmer but less humid air, but it was not ideal having warm air blowing around when I am trying to get cool. The instructions say it will warm up a small sized room a bit, so keep that in mind. It may be best used when you are not present in the room, as it will add a few degrees in temperature if its a small room – while taking away moisture. So it will be a more comfortable feeling – but you don’t want to be sitting near the warm air exhaust either. This can be lessened by running it on low, or by just placing it in a room you are not in. And this can also work the other way as a benefit – if running it in winter when its cold, as it says it is very effective for that as well.So while I was a little dissapointed to find out that it pumps out hot (more comfortable not-humid air via the exhaust) it still absolutely works, and I will use it in a different way, and see how it does under other conditions. Very happy with its ability to lower the moisture as it went from stifling 55% east coast heat-wave moisture down to a much more comfortable 44-45% in about 30-60 minutes, and I started noticing the change – within minutes.So I found in conjunction with my wall AC unit – this was great. But the wall AC could do much of what this was doing anyway, in terms of lowering humidity and giving cool air. This lowers humidity a lot, but gives off hot air via the exhaust. So its less effective than just having a wall AC unit. But if you have no AC this could defnitely help a lot. and if your concern is purely humidity ofc this is great. and this is portable so you can stick it in a closet, bathroom, or any area where you don’t have AC coverage and/or too much moisture. During winter when I dont mind having some extra warm air this will also be very useful likely. Very happy with it.

Review: Before choosing a dehumidifier, it’s always useful to go into it knowing what size is right for your specific space and subsequent needs regarding that space. Review: This was a godsend over the summer, Iâ€™m using it much less now since I have a forced air system and am using a humidifier since itâ€™s so dry. But this helped immensely when it was hot and humid out and my AC ran better because of it!I highly recommend this dehumidifier!

Review: This is an extremely effective dehumidifier and very space efficient. Overall, I am really enjoying it. The only con is that it can produce a bit of heat sometimes and needs a decent amount of space around it (about 12 inches on all sides). That being said, it has a lot of great features. Thereâ€™s an option of attaching a tube that drains water from the tank as it accumulates instead of manually emptying it. The tank is really large so it doesnâ€™t need to be emptied too often though. Iâ€™ve been using this in my bathroom that lacks a fan and gets super humid. It keeps things dry even after a long shower and works quickly. It has 2 setting for the fan/strength and can be set on a timer for 2, 4, or 8 hours. Thereâ€™s also an indicator light that tells you itâ€™s ready to be emptied. I havenâ€™t had any issues with it leaking or spilling.

Review: Update: 11-10-23I’ve only been running this a few months and it *was* my powerhouse dehumidifier but now it’s leaking everywhere. I can’t figure out where the leak is. It’s really frustrating. I can’t believe it hasn’t even lasted a year.I’m changing my rating from 5 stars to 1……………………….I’m impressed with how much water this dehumidifier collects in such a short amount of time. I only just got it and it started collecting all this water right away and the container started filling with water right away.It came with a tube so you can connect it to a sink. I may just do that when I move this dehumidifier down into the basement. I had it next to me in my office since we didn’t have the air conditioning on and it started getting humid again this summer. The basement is traditionally our wettest area in the house, so I got it to keep the basement dryer than it normally is. The one thing is that since the container isn’t huge, it needs dumping. I already filled it up in just my office within the first day. And I’d probably forget to dump the water once this machine is in the basement.It’s extremely quiet! My air purifier is also running and that is the machine making most of the noise. The dehumidifier is barely audible. I love it and am really thrilled I got it!
