Review: This home waxing kit has some plus points and a few negatives.Good points: The silicone bowl makes for really easy clean up, just let the wax harden and cool and pop out. It can also be folded flat for easy storage. It comes with literally everything you need; plenty of wax, sticks and the warmer, with pre-waxing cleansing spray and post-waxing soothing spray. With a bit of care the setup works well, but I did find it difficult to get the wax temperature right to make sure it was effective but not too hot.Not so good points; It really isn’t safe if you don’t know what you’re doing. The warmer is just a hot plate with an on/off switch, and the wax gets MUCH hotter than required for waxing, and certainly enough to potentially cause burns. You can’t set the temperature of the plate and you can’t turn it up or down, only take the bowl on and off the hot plate. This in itself requires a lot of care because the bowl is so flexible. It really would not be safe to move the bowl if you had it filled to the level shown in the product photograph.
