Review: I’ll use mine on a daily basis making a loaf of sourdough in a Dutch oven. These are an absolute godsend to save you from burning your hands when placing the dough into the piping hot container the material is super light very grippy and made of high-quality materials. They are very easy to wash. I just rinse them after each day and let them dry naturally before putting them away. Make sure you get the right size for the size of dough that you make but these are perfect for 30 cm oven.

Review: Ich backe gerne und viel Brot. Und das in meinem gusseisernen Topf. Da man diesen aber vorheizt, ist es immer ein riesen Heck-Meck und auch hohes Verletzungsrisiko den Teig in den Topf zu legen oder auch später das fertige Brot raus zu nehmen. Deswegen finde ich diese Silikonbackmatten einfach nur megaklasse.Ich hatte erst bedenken, ob sie die Temperaturen auch wirklich aushalten. Der Topf wird nämlich sehr heiß. Aber es funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Reinsetzen in den Topf ist nun wesentlich einfacher und wenn ich es rausnehmen möchte, könnte ich die Silikonmatte auch mit den Händen anfassen, ohne mich zu verbrennen. Denn diese werden nicht heißt. Sie sind also wirklich eine große Hilfe und auch eine Erleichterung sich nicht doch irgendwann böse zu verbrennen.Zu reinigen sind sie auch supersimpel: einfach abwischen und fertig. Vielleicht nur für die, die richtig großen Brote backen: die Ablage fürs Brot bzw. den Teig ist nicht besonders groß. Wenn ich größere Brote backe, muss ich es recht zügig einlegen, damit es mir an den Seiten nicht abschmiert.

Review: This is the second set of silicone slings I have ordered because I bake double batches of sourdough bread and I needed a total of 4 of them to be able to bake that much bread at one time. I absolutely recommend using the slings instead of parchment paper…they are easy to use, dishwasher safe (although I just wipe mine off), roll up and store in very little space and are sturdier and easier to use than the paper. This set was a lot thinner and a bit more flexible than my first set, but I actually like that feature because they are thin enough to fit into the bottom of my small, 3.5 qt. dutch oven without creasing the bottom of the round loaf. They are handy to have and the price of these thinner ones was almost half off the price of my first set. Highly recommended!
