Title: No more bending behind cabinets to turn lamps off!
Review: Iâ€™ve used products like this many years ago but never bothered again until I noticed that my back isnâ€™t what it was (Iâ€™m only 31, worryingly) so I decided to invest in these remote controlled plugs. Very cheap, I think at circa Â£21.00. They come pre-programmed so they literally are just plug and play. What makes these seem like a high quality product is the little magnetic mounting plate for the remote control. Iâ€™ve mounted it right next to our light switch so it just looks like some sort of smart home switch that is flush into the wall. When in use I can either use it as a wall switch or remove and have it as a portable switch. This also means that I can fully hide wires away now from my every curious 11 month old. Highly recommend these for any room, I think Iâ€™ll be buying more and linking them up to my kitchen cabinet lights and also mounting the remote next to the kitchen light switch.

Title: It is very useful and works well
Review: The wireless remote control sockets work great.I would have liked to know beforehand that there are these types of control sockets that make it much easier for me even when I have the connections behind a piece of furniture and it is difficult for me to reach to turn off the lamps and this has been very useful to me.I have also been using them for my Christmas tree, they are perfect and work well. I am happy with the product and would definitely buy more.

Review: All in all a good product. Very easy to set up. In some of the reviews it says to use the remote you have to be in the line of fire. The set I got I can use it through a brick wall.

Title: Neat and useful idea, but needs line-of-sight to work.
Review: Neat and useful idea, but claims range of 100 ft. Well, needs to be line of sight (a short block wall stops the signal) so unless you have a 100 ft lounge, can’t verify this range. And resonse is slow, variable and sometimes fails, even in direct line, so always need to check the lamps and TV really have switched off.Wall mounting fairly straightforward but check works from that position first.Battery half dead when it arrived, too. Better with brand new battery.

Review: Not sure if I have received a “dud” unit or what?! The set I have received was absolute rubbish, unit I tried only worked on 3-4m range / whatever happened to 30m range!? …and that was on straight line – line of sight. No walls in between or any other obstacles!It worked randomly – sometimes it worked, most of the times didn’t … had to come close to approx. 2m and than it was OK-ish!I had a high hopes for this unit – but instead – it was very buggy set unfortunately – I really wished it would work as it was advertised! …Not good for me …the search goes on …perhaps with different brand / make!?
