Title: Excellent little dehumidifier
Review: Love it. Collects so much water! It’s a bit noisy on the max setting (to be expected) and you can’t set it at a low setting as the settings are based on target humidity levels. If you have it on overnight it can sometimes get louder, but you get used to it.

Title: What’s Not To Like?
Review: This is my 3rd dehumidifier (or at least, the third I intend to keep). I use dehumidifiers to manage a damp problem caused by a failing damp course in the extension on a 200-year old cottage. My other two machines each lasted approximately 7 years before dying on me without warning, presumably because they had run out of gas refrigerant.When the last one died, I thought it might be time to buy one with a few more bells and whistles; you know, LED humidistat etc. Big mistake. I only discovered after I’d bought one that these humidistats are notoriously unreliable – mine consistently failed to read the relative humidity in the room it was in, so was on 24/7. I sent it back and opted for this little baby instead.I love the fact that it’s compact, but just as powerful as my old machine. I love that it does its job, then stops when it’s dried out the air, only coming back on when the humidity rises again. I love that it’s super-simple to use (press a button and go) and that there’s no spillage when I empty the water tank. I love the integrated handle and the fact that it looks good. My only gripe is that it doesn’t have wheels, but that omission doesn’t stop this being a Best Buy for me!

Title: Good but not perfect
Review: This is only the second dehumidifier I have ever owned, but it has been interesting to note the differences between this DeLonghi one and a cheaper but equally as good model, which unfortunately is no longer available.The choice of dehumidifiers is bewildering and in the end I chose the DeLonghi as though a bit more expensive, they make some of the best compressors in the world and, it was on offer on Amazon.It’s not a bad unit at all but it isn’t perfect. Here is my take on it after a few weeks of use.Pro’s.It’s fairly quiet and not overly intrusive either in lounge or bedroom.It doesn’t clunk on and off like my other unit. All you hear when it comes on is the fan.It seems quite sensitive in terms of detecting humidity and certainly pulls plenty of moisture out of the air.It doesn’t seem to cost that much to run. I have not run specific figures but it seems to be on par with my other unit and no more expensive. I tend to leave it on all day, but turn off at night.It seems to be well made and uses quality materials.It is very easy to use. You don’t need the manual. The front panel controls really could not be simpler.The side mounted water container has a recess which makes it easy to remove and replace.It seems to do a good job on the clothes drying function in helping to dry fabrics quite quickly.It looks good and quite stylish, if that means something to you.Cons.It is quite a hefty unit and it is not on casters, unlike my other unit. There is a very useful built in handle as part of the design, which is thick and strong, so picking it up to move it is easy enough. But if lifting is a problem for you, then you may want to look elsewhere.The fan only seems to have 1 speed. Most others seem to have 2 speeds or more. It isn’t necessarily a problem but I was surprised that you cannot adjust the speed manually. It does seem that it comes on with some gusto at times, then settles down a bit, so it may be that it has a regulator to automatically adjust the fan speed as necessary, but that isn’t obvious and I’m not certain this is the case.The temperature humidity settings are pre-set at 60, 50 and 40 degrees. These are not variable, unlike my other unit, which I have found to be quite useful. So if the humidity is 60 degrees or over, the unit will come on and stop when it reaches 60. However, turning it to the 50 degree setting, the unit is on constantly and never stops. This is a tad annoying. My other unit has adjustable humidity from 30 to 80 degrees in 5 degree increments, so on that one, I can set the humidity at 55 degrees which seems to be a comfortable humidity in my home. Further, I have swopped the units around and in the same place, my other unit will reach 55 or 50 degrees and stop, whereas the DeLonghi just keeps going. I’m not sure why or what this means. It may be that the temperature sensors are slightly different in each machine, but whatever, it means I don’t find the DeLonghi quite as flexible to use as my other unit.The most annoying thing about the DeLonghi is that on 60 degrees, when it has reached the desired humidity, rather than stopping completely, it seems that the fan keeps running very slowly and in doing so, emits a slow stream of cold air. I only noticed this recently during the very cold snap we had and couldn’t work out where a draft was coming from or why the bedroom felt colder than it should have. I could feel the draft quite a few feet away and when in bed. My other unit doesn’t do this. To avoid this, you have to turn off the unit completely.So in conclusion, I think this is a bit of a mixed bag. It does what I bought it to do and if you can live with those failings/ idiosyncratic differences, then it’s not a bad unit. It’s just that I guess I expected a bit more from such a well known brand.

Title: Adaptable
Review: This is an effective dehumidifier that efficiently removes excess moisture from a room or, in my case, garage. We have an electric car, which is charged in the garage, along with Powerwalls, add a wet car to the mix and a sealed garage door and you have windows and walls running with water.The dehumidifier removed all excess water within a day of being put in place. I only wish it had a larger capacity water tank as it sometimes needs to be emptied twice per day. But as long as I keep on top of that, it continues to maintain a dry interior.It is a very quiet unit when running, so much so that the only indication it is going is the presence of water collecting in the tank and a green display light (red when the tank is full). I would be happy to have this running in a bedroom if necessary. It is easy to move around as there is a handle built into the top and it is very lightweight, so you could change its position as often as needed, several times a day if necessary.It is a very good dehumidifier and my only wish would be for a larger tank – but I knew what I was getting, so it isn’t the fault of the unit.

Review: j’ai acheté se déshumidificateur car j’avais a cette époque de l’année 70% d’humidité dans les chambres ce qui entraine des problèmes de douleurs dans les articulations et le coup sans compter que le lit semblait frais. Tous ces problèmes ont été solutionné par la mise en place de cette appareil je suis descendu à 50% d’humidité. Il y a quand même quelques inconvénients le bruit ne permet pas de laisser l’appareil allumé la nuit. Au départ le réservoir de stockage de l’eau est un peu juste je faisais deux vidanges par jour c’est vrai que l’appareil évacue au maximum 14 l d’eau par jour et que le réservoir ne fais que 2 litres. Je suis malgré ces petits inconvénients très satisfait de ce produit et le recommande la preuve j’en ai acheté un deuxième.

Review: Efficace. Il a absorbé environ 5 litres d’eau en une nuit.Après quelque semaines, j’en ai acheté un deuxième : un à l’étage et un au rdc.Je les vide toutes les 24h ! Nous sommes allergiques aux acariens, donc à l’humidité et aux moisissures.Nous respirons beaucoup mieux grâce à ces deux appareils. Et je n’ai plus de douleurs rhumatismales !La maison est beaucoup plus saine.Ils ne sont pas plus bruyants qu’une vmc. On les oublie. Sur la puissance 2(sur3), ils ne dérangent pas notre sommeil.J’utilise l’eau pour arroser les plantes et laver la terrasse. C’est nickel.

Review: mirando los comentarios tenia algunas dudas. pero lo he pedido al final confiando en la información de la página de de delonghi. vivo en un atico en barcelona y la verdad funciona super bien, la absorción de humedad es increíble en pocas horas ya tenia el depósito casi lleno y después no tenia esa sensación de frio húmedo en el piso. nivel de ruido pues no esperaba que no se escucha nada, se escucha y no lo uso si duermo. la única cosa negativa: como no tiene temporizador yo recomiendo el modelo que viene con el temporizador, claro cuesta más. yo lo tengo ahora conectado a un enchufe inteligente (que ya tenia) así si lo dejó encendido y lo puedo apagarlo via la app del enchufe (dlink) si hace falta. (se apaga cuando llega al nivel de humedad seleccionada o cuando el depósito esta lleno)

Review: Ho preso questo deumidificatore in quanto attualmente vivo in affitto in una casa umida, esposta a nord ove tendenzialmente si forma della muffa ma, grazie a questo prodotto sono riuscito a risolvere il problema rendendo l’ambiente più sano ed asciutto. Il sensore di umidità e molto preciso in quanto, per mantenere monitorata l’umidità all’interno dell’abitazione, ho preso dei sensori di umidità a batterie installati nelle varie stanze e devo dire che, impostando i vari livelli di umidità (40%-50%-60%), il deumidificatore stacca in maniera precisa riconducendo il valore a quello dei sensori. Il desing è ottimo e funzionale allo stesso tempo poiché morbido ed elegante non facendo sdegnare l’ambiente domestico dando la possibilità di riporlo in maniera facile mediante la maniglia integrata superiore, in qualsiasi posto. Buona la rumorosità ed il fatto che si possa mettere uno scarico continuo l’unica pecca, ed perché ho dato quattro stelle, è la mancanza di un timer anche di poche ore, che avrebbe dato la possibilità di avere un prodotto di desing veramente completo.Consiglio l’acquisto.
