Title: As described, ½†deep socket set that comes in a generic & sturdy plastic storage case, well priced
Review: The first thing I want to mention is that the provided socket adapter piece is hidden away inside the largest socket in the set, as the case doesn’t have a dedicated spot for it. I’d initially thought that they had forgotten to include it in my set, but eventually found it as I was inspecting each of the sockets in the set one by one. My impact wrench has a ½†attachment, so it wouldn’t have mattered much to me. But it’s nice that a matching ¼†hex adapter is included for people with combi drills and impact drivers on jobs that don’t need the same brute force available on impact wrenches.Everything arrived placed in a plain cardboard box with a small slip of bubble wrapping inside for a bit of extra protection. Popping open that box reveals a bright green blow moulded plastic case that is typical for tools & accessories of all price ranges. The case isn’t anything special but it’s far better than other cheap sets that often don’t come with something to store the sockets in. Each of the sockets feels solid and are coated with a uniform and blemish free black coating, they’re also stamped with the metal used which in this case is a chrome vanadium.As far as I can tell from first glance and a few test runs on some nuts and bolts around my car, the sockets are more than up to the task. I pulled a wheel off my car just for the sake of testing these and they handled the impact and torque from my impact wrench without a problem, and I also had no problems using a long handled torque wrench when torquing the wheel nuts back up to the factory spec. The fitment on each of the socket sizes is accurate for the ones that I happen to have matching nuts and bolts lying around for. Of course, they’re also great for the intended application, which is for reaching nuts tightened onto exposed threads that would be too long for traditional sockets.These aren’t professional or trade grade sockets by any stretch but they’re more than sufficient for occasional uses around the home, car, and workshop for those awkwardly deep set bolts. At the current price of £15.90 you can’t really go wrong with these, especially if you only really need them once or twice a year when you encounter an awkward nut. A quick look around Amazon shows that a lot of vendors are selling this exact set. Honestly the current price for this particular one is among the cheapest currently and is hard to beat, so this is an easy one to recommend based on the price and my experience with it so far.

Title: Durable Deep Impact Socket Set
Review: There have been many times that I have been working on my car or other mechanical items where I have encountered a nut which I need to remove and have not had a deep enough socket to fit over a protruding thread. This Anesty 11 piece deep impact socket set is a great solution for those kinds of engineering tasks. Each of the sockets is 78mm in length with an ample socket recess to provide sufficient reach for a variety of situations. The set comprises of 10 sockets and a 1/2 inch drive adaptor which is compatible with electric drills and other types of drivers. The heat treated chrome vanadium sockets have their size stamped into each one and a durable carbon phosphate finish. Having used this set a few times I like that the sockets lock firmly onto a drive adaptor and they have not slipped at all even when subjected to high levels of torque. This set is in my opinion reasonably priced when taking into account the overall quality of the drive sockets and the inclusion of a drive adaptor and storage case. Recommended.

Title: Good value set
Review: I work in a garage, so tools like this always come in handy as I am using them every dayThis set is a nice set, comes in a blown plastic case , strange colour choice – Green ? , most tool sets are your standard red , blue or grey colours , at least I can find them easily !You get 10 deep impact sockets , which fit a 1/2 inch drive ratchet or air gun etc and the sizes included will come in handy for most jobs as all the popular ones are included , (maybe if an 18 mm was also included everything would be covered as I come across a lot of 18 mm bolts/nuts )I did use them the day after the photos and they seem to be fine , only time will tell how robust they areThey do include a hex to 1/2 inch adaptor , which is handy , but I personally wouldn’t really be using a 1/2 inch drive socket with an electric hex gun/drill ?However I would recommend this set , they are great value for money
