The Grind & Brew Automatic gives you the freshness of bean to cup, in a filter coffee machine, by grinding your beans immediately before brewing. Every drop of hot water passes through the ground coffee for a smooth, full flavoured drink.

Use the Grind & Brew Automatic with your choice of beans, or your can use pre-ground coffee if you prefer. You can adjust the strength of your coffee by varying the amount of beans.

GRIND OFF FEATURE

Select the amount of coffee beans for grinding, using the 1-4 cup selector. The grind off feature allows you to use pre-ground beans.

PROGRAMMABLE TIMER

Title: Brilliant Grind and Brew Coffee Machine!
Review: This coffee machine is well designed for ease of use and simplicity. The grinder and filter assemblies easily lift out for cleaning and the jug is double walled for long heat retention – and made of stainless steel, not breakable glass. The grinder can’t be adjusted and is optimised for filter coffee production. I don’t know why coffee machines have a fine to coarse setting on their grinders when a fine grind allows more of the coffee essence to percolate into the hot water. There’s a button for 1-4 cups which toggles on-off. When off the grinder will run for longer. Coffee strength is controlled by adding the exact number of beans to achieve the required strength, given the quantity of water added. I.e., I add water for two cups and have established the number of beans that will give my preferred strength by experimentation. The grinder runs for long enough that all beans will be ground. I hope this makes sense. I like this feature as it gives complete control over the coffee strength. Machines that have a large bean hopper and run for preset times according to the cup number setting can produce inconsistent coffee strengths. I hope I’ve explained this well. It can also use pre-ground coffee. The machine has more than exceeded my expectations!

Title: I like it
Review: I have tried all sorts of coffee makers and have come back home to filter. I’ve had similar experiences as other reviewers: the grinder is a bit jarring in the early hours; it’s a bit fiddly to clean and I have to nuke the coffee after a while. All of this aside, it makes a lovely cup of filter coffee. I don’t mind heating my coffee as I like to have a big pot all day and when the coffee is kept on a hot plate the flavour is awful, this stays fresh. The cleaning is fairly quick and just becomes habit. The machine has a nice look and feel and I hope it keeps on delivering

Title: Nice coffee but very noisy.
Review: Makes lovely coffee, not overly bulky. Easy to use and keep clean, only downside is the noise it makes when grinding the beans it is far noisier than we were expecting and will make us very reluctant to use early in the morning if children are still asleep. Otherwise a good price.

Title: Cuisinart coffee maker
Review: This was as new when arrived, not just very good as stated. Having used it daily since I received it I love it. Makes fantastic coffee and from the gripes of having to clean it after use from other buyers so what it’s quick to do.Cleans up a treat and I mainly use the 1- 4 cup setting (2 cups is roughly a mug of coffee). I have used the grinder and found no lumpy bits in my coffee. I also open the carafe to drain the last dregs out as with the lid on it it does retain some coffee.This is no problem to me as I I just take the lid off. Worked a treat with the delayed time setting, though for some reason it does not show a.m but does show p.m, it does this on a friends one as well. Instruction clear and straight to the point.

Title: Great in theory, not so much in practice
Review: My mom was insistent on getting us a quality coffee-maker for a house-warming present (she knows how much I like a good cup of coffee). Until we got this, we’d just been using instant – it was quick and easy in the morning. After much research, we decided to get this one with the idea that it would be nice to just wake up to the coffee and we could do all the work in the evenings.Great in theory, not in practice. The other reviews complaining about the coffee not being hot enough are true (and I’m not one that’s particular about the temperature). The only way to get a properly hot cup is if you rinse the carafe with hot water prior to making the coffee – which entirely negates using the program feature. If, however, you rinse the carafe with hot water to warm it up first, the coffee is lovely and stays warm for a long while inside.As a result, this has all become a bit too much for a couple of cups of coffee every morning. It is great for after-dinner coffee when we have guests though 🙂

Review: We enjoy having freshly brewed coffee ready when we get up. The appliance is easy to use and the timer is accurate. Instead of a hot plate that continues to cook (and burn) the coffee, the insulated carafe keeps it hot for a couple of hours. This is our second Cuisinart – the first one (same model) started leaking from one of the internal seals – but it took 7 years for it to start having problems.
