Title: Very different but we all like it
Review: Very different and a little odd at first, when you are used to having a squishy or shaggy bathmat. But in the end, everyone in the house actually liked it, and it has some major plusses to a traditional mat.For one, as you can see it dries super fast. As you might also notice in the end, the cat hair from our cats, well it permeates everything, and the old bathmat had to get washed a lot from the cat laying on it, but this one is just so easy to just hold up in the shower for a minute ad rinse off.Same with having to wash it a lot to make sure it wasn’t getting mould or smelly from bacteria etc from moisture, so no more issue with that in this type of mat.Cloth mats always start to eventually mildew on the underside which I am allergic to, so another plus to switching to this stone style.It also looks very stylish as well. So all in all, I think the investment is worth it, as this will last much longer than the other style bathmats we have had over the years that have to be replaced all the time once they start to get a bit icky or mildewy.

It has a nice look and feel and does the job of absorbing water and drying quickly when you step on it with wet feet. Unlike other bath mats, this one does dry faster. It feels soft and bouncy on the feet!

Title: It does dry quickly
Review: This mat is cool to the touch and hard but not uncomfortable to stand on. It comes with a grip mat to go under it and a piece of sandpaper for removing muck. I have placed it outside the shower cubicle. I figure using it as a door mat would have me scrubbing it with sandpaper to remove the dirt often. I do like the idea of using it as a mat for pet water bowls, but at £31.90 I wouldn’t realistically purchase it for that task. The dimensions are given as 15.5″ by 23.5″. It is big enough to stand on and towel yourself down, but not to move around on. I’d prefer it if it was half the size again for comfortable toweling. It does not dry in one minute. I’d say 5 to 10minutes and it goes from looking grey and dirty back to pristine white. I took a video for a minute and a half, I’ve edited it down to the last 30 seconds to show the drying (I figured any longer and people would doze off).I like it, it is clever how it absorbs the water and drys quickly. It’s cool under foot and therefore nice in Summer. I’m not sure how I’d feel about it in the Winter.Thus would be useful in a high traffic bathroom or in any bathroom where you’re trying to control the humidity.

Title: Where does the water go?!
Review: I have to confess that I was a little sceptical about this product at first. I didn’t really imagine it would soak up a lot of water, but wanted to give it a try.I’m happy to report that this absorbs way more water than my normal bath mats, and is obviously a lot easier to clean, and looks a lot smarter.Time will tell, if the absorbency gets lower. But for now, this seems like a great idea. As soon as you step onto the mat with a wet foot, it instantly absorbs into the stone itself. Just like magic!Much nicer than a soggy bath mat in the bathroom.
