Title: Excellent duvet protector!
Review: Took a chance on this as read some good reviews on it. All I can say is it’s a brilliant product, our cat sleeps on our bed and had seizures, we had to change the duvet each time because of urine going into the duvet through the cover, we put this on the duvet, and then the normal cover over it, he had a seizure a week later, and the cover was soaked, we took it off to find thf protector wet, but when we took it off, low and behold….the duvet was bone dry!I don’t know why people are having troubles washing and drying this? We stuck it on a 60 degree wash, and then tumble dryed it, job done!Also the zip was fine, easy to do up.I can’t recommend this product enough! I might buy another to stick straight back on whilst the soiled ones in the wash.Another plus is it’s not crinkley like some out there, it’s a Terry towel material and is really soft.

Title: Good quality and washes great
Review: It seems to be working so far. Washed it a couple of times and it’s great.The only downside is that it’s ver “slippery” and the duvet inside end up in a bunch at the bottom. It could do with some sort of fasteners inside that could clip onto the duvet and hold it in position.

Title: … a different waterproof duvet cover which arrived and was like wrapping the duvet in cardboard
Review: We originally purchased a different waterproof duvet cover which arrived and was like wrapping the duvet in cardboard, this was promptly returned. As we had also ordered a waterproof terry mattress cover which arrived and we were pleased with, I then ordered this duvet cover.Noting the other reviews about the duvet slipping within the cover I also ordered RUCO V234 8-Piece Set of Bed Clips to secure the waterproof cover to the duvet. These are a God send and hold the cover and duvet together perfectly, use all 8 around the first ‘square’ in on your duvet rather than just the corners and edges though, otherwise they tend to pop off as you maybe pull the duvet during the night. As for the cover itself, it definitely works as promised. I have to disagree with a previous review saying that it rustles though, it does make your duvet feel a little different but I wouldn’t say it has a noise to it. After reading lots of reviews for waterproof duvet covers before purchasing, I can also add that this terry cover does not make you feel hot or cause you to sweat. It’s a great waterproof cover, it keeps the duvet dry, it’s not noisy and doesn’t make you sweat. I’d highly recommend it and it’s already paid for itself vs taking the duvet to the launderette after pissy pussy’s accidents!! (He’s old but healthy and I can’t bring myself to make ‘that’ decision.) I’m just about to buy another, I must also recommend you BUY THOSE DUVET CLIPS WITH IT!

Title: not really fit for purpose
Review: Haven’t tested it for it’s waterproof abilities, which is why I got this ( new kitten peeing on the bed a few times!) .Have had this for a while now..Biggest issue I have is it’s long term practicalities. The inside of the cover is very sheer and slippery, which means that in the small hours of the morning, the duvet inside ends up in a big ball in the middle of it.Gave only 1 star because it is not really practical / fit for purpose if it always causes the duvet inside it to end up in a big ball inside it.

Title: Makes things too damn hot

Title: Great product but complex and time-consuming to wash and dry
Review: The duvet cover looks “normal” and you can buy a matching fitted bottom sheet and pillow slips. It is comfortable.Fitting this duvet cover is no more difficult than fitting any duvet cover – I use large crocodile clips at the corner to peg it while I fit one side then the other – then pull it through.The main issue is that because it is waterproof, it is not so much difficult to machine wash – as difficult to machine spin dry and then machine tumble dry. And the same applies in the summer. Challenge one: after the wash, it is basically a big bag with a couple of liters of water in it. Because it is waterproof. So get it to the kitchen sink and try to get the water down the sink and not onto the kitchen floor. When it is more or less drained, machine spin it.Then, turn it inside out, polyurethane side out, not quite fully zipped shout, and tumble dry it. Then turn it back to terry side out, zip it closed, and tumble dry it again.On a nice day, you can hang it out, but again, need to turn it inside out a couple of times, and be creative twith the clothes pegs to try to keep the duvet cover open, ballooning and ventilated.PS – the fitted bottom sheet will eventually lose its water-proofness – eventually if not immediately. So you need to have mattress protector, plus washable and back up disposable bed padsPPS – get the correct size. This is the second one I bought, but I bought King Size instead of Queen Size. Just measure your duvet with a tape, and check the numbers. The new one will be OK for a spare – as a top sheet rather than a duvet cover – in case the original one is not dried in time

Review: I would rather not need to use this product, but as we do need too, it’s doing a very good job of keeping the duvet dry, would recommend. The full size zipper makes it easy to fit the duvet. Have paid more for similar product.
