Title: Very impressive
Review: This camera is a step up from the generic cheaper in door cameras you can find. Which are fine to use but this is a better all rounder in every regard.We use an SD card as we don’t want our footage in the hands of a company. Nothing specific to this brand but we stay away from cloud video storage. The SD card works great. The app allows you the same functions this way so you don’t lose anything.The battery life is pretty good it will depend on how often it’s triggered. We get quite a while out of it with admittedly little use. Which is a good thing for where it’s placed.The video quality is very good. Certainly above the cheaper cameras. The night vision is also very good. A general trend of this camera is just that it’s very good.The build quality is, you guessed it, very good. It’s dense and solid. Feels like an Apple product. Once it’s installed setting it up is straight forward and intuitive.Overall it’s a very good camera at a price that’s very good for what it is. I can’t comment on the cloud fees but as a camera we are very happy with it.

Title: Very decent camera for the price
Review: At less than £40 this is a very capable security camera. The pictures are clear both in daylight and at nightime using either the built in IR light for black and white images, or the built in white spotlight for colour images (shorter range and obviously highlights the camera location too).Battery life is holding up very well after over 3 weeks use in a low traffic area (still showing at 88%) and I had no issues with the WiFi coverage.Audio also is clear and works well in both directions, and motion detection is quite effective – in fact this camera seems every bit as good as a similar known brand one that I already had.As with most of these cameras, limited cloud storage is included, but to make full use of it you will need to subscribe to a plan which is currently £3.99/month or strangely slightly higher annual fee of £49.99.Without the paid plan motion recording is limited to 20 seconds/event and retained for up to 3 days. There is also no “AI” detection – so you won’t know what has been detected without reviewing the footage. I have not tested using the camera with a Micro SD card and one is not supplied with the camera.You will need to install the “VicoHome” App to use the camera.

Title: Wow – quite a package for the price
Review: I’m not great at tech, so when i read the description for this camera I was impressed at how simple the operation and installation appeared to be. And in reality, I was just as impressed. No wiring makes this a breeze to install, and the app was equally easy to install on my phone – which was a relief because mostly, I find these things can be problematic when the tech won’t behave itself, but no such problems here. It was straightforward and i didnt have to lose my temper once!!!The amount of features included in the software is phenomenal for the price of this kit. I haven’t had the opportunity to take advantage of some of the features yet – for example the two-way audio. I’ve had no visitors since I installed it, so I’ve not had chance to speak with anyone through it, but the motion detection and night vision are especially great. I know things are moving on all the time, but I hadn’t realised that home-security had become so simple.Finally, a word on build quality. It’s robust! There’s a nice weight to it and it’s a lot smaller than i expected – the camera is about 10cm in length, so looks completely unobtrusive. The packaging is trendy, a little bit Apple-Mac-ish, and all the fittings are included, which are also good quality.This one has gone up by my front door, but I’m now considering one to put in the trees at the back of my house, so that I can use it to watch the hedgehogs, owls and foxes at night! It really is a cracking piece of kit and perfect for a non-techy, non-DIYer like me. All very simple, and does what it’s supposed to. Superb.

Title: Good wireless outdoor camera
Review: I have a couple of these types of camera already set up in my house and they are great. I point one at my drive to keep an eye on my cars and the front of my house, it’s great when you’re away you can keep an eye on your valuables.This 2k camera has a couple of features that are an upgrade to me, first it’s 2K so the pictures are better and secondly it has a spotlight which could be useful on occasion, also it is an outside mount camera with it’s own battery power supply. I’m not sure exactly how long the battery lasts but will try to update this post in the future once I know. The app, is easy to install on your smart phone there’s a QR code on the box to guide to help you along. You also need internet and Wi Fi and will have to make an account to get it to work.I think to get the most out of one of this camera you’ll need to add a good quality SD card to record and you can run it free without buying cloud storage. Plus it needs to be put high up out of reach so it can’t easily be removed.All in all this is a great camera for extra security and if you buy the solar panel to go with it, it will be even better.

Title: Easy to install and operate
Review: This security camera was fairly easy to set it up and operate. The quality of the images is very good, night vision is great.We have the app on multiple phones for easy monitoring, so we can access the device from work, keep an eye on my dogs, see what they are doing when we are not at home.Great clear images recorded and it is easy to connect to your smartphone so you can replay recordings or watch the camera live where ever you wish on your phone, so it’s really handy.
