Review: I’ve recently been hunting for a suitable replacement for my 15 year-old wired keyboard, and I think that search is finally over. The Cherry 3000 meets all of my needs, with no extra nonsense.Pros:- Simple layout: QWERTY with subtle gaps between the core, navigation, num-pad, and functions.- Truly full-sized mechanical keyboard. Roomy luxury with great feelings on every key press.- Cupped keys: They capture and re-center my fingers so I don’t slide/drift while typing.- Slim profile with adjustable risers.- Sturdy: Doesn’t bounce or slide around, which also helps keep it quiet.Cons:- No Num-Lock, Caps-Lock, Scroll-Lock lightsMy typing speed on my old-faithful keyboard (shown in photo next to the Cherry 3000) is ~70 WPM. By comparison, my speed on full-sized scissor/chiclet keyboards is ~65 WPM. After just one full day of using the Cherry 3000, I’m already clocking in speeds of ~80 WPM.I think it’s possible that the Cherry 3000 has set a new standard for inexpensive wireless keyboards.
