Title: Love this kettle.
Review: I love the colour change effect as I know if my partner has already boiled it. It’s a good quality kettle and has performed well. It’s quite as any kettle could be and boil time is quite. The lid is sturdy and the opening is large enough to get my hand in for cleaning. I recommend using filtered water in it to lessen the lime scale buildup and boiling with vinegar every so often as it makes for better coffee and a quieter boil. It’s of substantial weight but not heavy. Good kettle. Would buy again.

Title: red-to-black feature does not last (lucky I didn’t buy it for this reason)
Review: I love the big spout for quick pouring, love the look and feel, all functions well as a kettle. I dislike that you need to boil 800ml as a minimum – this makes it unnecessarily heavy, wastes time and electricity. The black-to-red feature was a fun novelty, but after a couple months the colours fade – changing from to pink-to-mauve.

Title: Very Disappointing Boiler
Review: Bought 13th December. Initially I liked the novelty of it’s changing colour BUT>On the kettle I’ve been sent the white print on the side of the base is kind of smudged, which wasn’t the best sign of quality when unpackaging. I bought it to avoid plastics more than anything and although the water boils in a metal jug, the spout has a plastic fitting inside which the water has to run over. And, the rest of it is plastic other than the jug part (handle and base etc). I’m getting no response

Review: The kettle’s interior is stainless steel which must be well insulated because the cordless carafe stays very hot for an hour or more. You can tell how much water is in it, and how hot it is by looking at its exterior (exterior color changing from black to red as water heats and glows RED when water is near boiling point. It’s fun, useful and pretty with a reliable auto shutoff.

Review: The best kettle ever.The color changing feature is amazing, its magical and the blue led ‘on and off trigger’ lights up the area beautifully where it sits. Safe and save energy, since there is no more guessing Whether the water is hot or cold. Even though I only had for abt 2weeks now, I must say I am very please with this product. My only worry is that its made of plastic and if accidentally dropped might not survive the crash as my previously own stainless steel kettle. Guess I just have to be careful when move it around. Wish there were other colors to choose from since the standing (cold) color is black.

Review: I fill it up, turn it on and go do other things. The water stays HOT until you come back and remove from platform. I love that feature. Sometimes I get side tracked doing other things, when I come back water is still very hot whereas if heated in microwave, water would have cooled down.Its my morning ritual thing to do-heat my water for tea.

Review: This is a great tea pot . I love the idea that the color changes from black to red when it gets hot which lets me know by looking at it if the water is still hot enough to make tea with . Very clever idea and a real conversation piece when company comes over . It has a light indicator to let you be aware when it is on and when it turns off . The water actually boils a minute before it turns off . The outside gets very hot except the handle and bottom but I keep it on the counter so it’s not an issue with me . Packed carefully and promptly delivered . I recommend this tea kettle to anyone .
