Review: Nice product, however contrary to the description, this doesn’t fit the Char-Broil Performance 4 burner. It is designed for the Professional 4 burner. Too big for the Performance model so had to return. Misdescribed.

Review: Ich habe mir diese Gussplatte für den Gasgrill gekauft, weil ich das ewige Putzen des Grills leid war. So schön das original Gussgitter auch sind, aber es muss ebenso wie die Brenner gereinigt werden.Das entfällt nun.Als erstes habe ich die Platte eingebrannt. Sie passt über 2 Brenner meines Grills. Mit Rapsöl einreiben und langsam die Hitze hochfahren.Auf höchster Stufe brennen lassen und immer wieder mit Öl einreiben. Nun verfärbt sich die Platte langsam und bekommt einen Belag. Fertig.Die Platte ist formstabil und hat sich nicht verzogen. So muss es sein.Ich habe sie nun schon mehrfach verwendet. Nur für Fleisch. Das Fleisch hat gute Röstaromen und lässt sich sehr gut grillen.Das Reinigen ist nicht so einfach, wie ich mir das vorgestellt habe, aber kein Vergleich mit dem Aufwand, den ich zuvor hatte. Am Grill selber ist kaum noch etwas zu reinigen.Ich habe auf dem Gasgrill auch eine Plancha liegen. Beide Teile nutze ich immer gemeinsam. Auf der Plancha grille ich Gemüse, Fisch und Grillkäse, auf der Gussplatte das Fleisch.Damit habe ich ein tolles Grillerlebnis ohne die lästigen Grillkörbe, ich kann mehrere Dinge gleichzeig grillen und der Reinigungsaufwand ist drastisch reduziert.Also…eine super Gus-Grillplatte. Perfekt in Kombi mit Placha.
