Review: This is a great way to get a seat high enough for normal people, it appears that to get a seat that is at a height that you can sit on without having your knees up at your ears, I believe that I am about average in height at 5’10” but every chair I tried left me with my knees around my shoulders at the highest setting but with this strutt I could sit in a normal position with my knees at 90° (which is normal to me) so thanks to this strutt I now have a seat that does not leave me in pain.

Title: Yikes Higher Than I Thought!
Review: So I have an IKEA chair that needed the cylinder replacing. Ordered this on the basis of the reviews etc and a decent wrench (after watching vidz on YouTube) and it was a piece of the preverbal to replace.Lots of folks have said that it is sooooooo….hard to remove the original cylinder – well no it isn’t if you have a plumbers wrench and a bit of muscle. Dead easy to change over, fits like a glove, but….my only criticism is that I’m sitting with it on its low setting, if I extend it I rise up like a Bond villain!! Possibly my mistake but I did all the measurements. Not going to complain though as it has done what it was supposed to do which was replace a constantly collapsing old cylinder. Black Friday deal too!!
