Title: Defective Item no option to return/replace
Review: Product arrived, top looked as if it was tampered with (it was on squint but foil seal not burst), tried to screw the lid on but the thread did not match up. Item is now open but I have no way in sealing the tube back up therefore defective Item. Have went round in circles trying to get a replacement with no luck. Clicked on the email address that comes up after you go round the houses trying to get a replacement only to be told ‘contact amazon’. Contact amazon by following all the links for getting a replacement…to be told no replacement contact cerave ! Give up ! £13.50 wasted

Review: Always concerned ordering cosmetics online that they are not genuine but this arrived with sealed nozzle. I am a fan of Cera Ve products but for some reason this serum is not available to buy over the counter in UK retailers/pharmacies along with the rest of the range. I know these products are made in USA but postage seems to be from Germany. I have ordered this product twice now from Amazon and (without expensive fast delivery) it takes a couple of weeks to arrive. However, on both occasions it has arrived earlier than expected and clear tracking was provided. Now in my 60’s, I have spent a fortune over the years on often very expensive moisturisers and serums and have never before felt enthusiastic enough to post a recommendation. For my dry and sensitive skin this serum has been a revelation. It does not irritate in any way, gives an instant glow to my ageing complexion and works well with moisturiser. I wish it did not come in a metal tube but I believe this is the best container to preserve this particular product. It may be wishful thinking but I truly believe I can see an improvement in lines on my face, especially around mouth and lips. I would not want to be without this now I have found it.

Review: Have been reordering this primarily for the way it is packaged as it limits exposure to air. Thus far, I have observed limited oxidisation to the product with the darkest colour I have seen being a very faint and pale yellow. Vitamin C is extremely susceptible to oxidisation so I avoid ones that are in droppers or any type of packaging that exposes the product to air when opening and applying. Once Vitamin C turns yellow and gets applied continuously to skin, it can even colour one’s skin with an orange-y tint.Of course this has some hydration formula but isn’t sufficient in dryer climates.
