Title: It works, just slowly and without precision
Review: This hair removal tool from Canvalite seems to work by simply rubbing the hairs off your body. I’m not sure on how it gets to grips with the hair, but it’s described as a crystal hair removal stone and it seems quite that way from the feel of it.It does work as the first thing to say, but you have to be persistent with it to get it to take the hair off as it’s not a quick rub and you’re done. You need to rub continuously in a circular motion and eventually the hair on the surface will have gone. Eventually! Alongside this, it seems to also make the skin in the areas you’ve applied this to smooth which seems to be a good thing.It’s not painful and is far preferable to waxing or epilating, but it’s a little odd and I can only liken the sensation to being rubbed down with sandpaper! It’s probably quite close to being accurate. In terms of the results, I did my arm area around a week ago and the hairs are now sprouting through again, so it’s probably on par with shaving in that respect. It did take some time though to get it all rubbed off, so it’s not a quick experience versus more traditional methods.I once had something similar for my face some time ago and I’m not sure what happened to it, so I was quite keen to try something similar again. Disappointingly, this one tells you it’s not for the delicate face area so it won’t be used for how I’d hoped it would be used and this is something to keep in mind if you’re after a bit of defluffing on your top lip yourself (middle aged woman here, it’s started).Good value on the whole and it’s good for travelling as it’s easy to carry, store and clean. It has its place in the hair removal world, but it’s perhaps not a first choice for some depending on how long you want the results to last and how quickly you want to remove the hair.

Title: Works but not very efficient
Review: I’ve been a bit doubtful whether this works when I’ve seen ads about it so now that I had a chance to try, had to test it.Now, it does work, I do admit that. The side that touches your skin has a metal plate for wee holes on it and I guess the idea is that these will slice the hair.However the difference you see in my picture took minutes just rubbing one spot and even then there’s some hair left. I would say that this is okay if you want to try something new and haven’t yet found your own preference on how to remove hair, but I personally have to say this is more hassle than not. However this is brilliant at peeling off dead or dry skin so if you need a good product for that sort of thing, look no further!

Review: I really wanted to like this gadget because it looks great, very stylish, and it feels fantastic, too, very smooth to hold. However, it’s not an ornament to be looked at and be admired. Basically, it’s a tool for a specific use. It’s a hair removal tool. Unfortunately, that didn’t prove true in my case. I followed the very simple instructions, tried several times, in the same place, and it hardly removed any hairs at all. Very disappointing. On the positive side, in the areas where I tried it, my skin felt very smooth indeed, as if I had used an exfoliator, but the hairs remained 🥴Hence, only two stars from me. Sorry😬

Review: I wasn’t sure this would work, but it does seem to! I am pretty pleased with this light weight hair remover. It is very simple and quick to use and left my legs really smooth once I had used a good moisturiser on them. It seems to exfoliate a bit too. It works by kinda rubbing the hair off at surface level which will mean doing them more often than pulling the hair out, but it is so easy and painless, it seems a great option. I will continue using it. Recommended.
