Title: Affordable multi-function quality printer
Review: This is a very good printer. I needed one that did a multitude of office type features such as multi page feeder for scanning and copying and double sided printing but I also needed it to print photos and images well for craft projects. It does all of these things splendidly. It has the added bonus of being white and not sucking all the light out of a small room which black printers do.

Title: Good Printer but………
Review: I have had Canon printers in the past and have always been pleased with them, so far this printer has performed well. The reason for 4 stars is because Canon provide very little documentation to help in the use of the printer, especially if you are trying to use it with a Mac computer. The manual that comes with the device is a quick start guide, the manual supplied is on a CD, very few computers have cd drives these days. After about an hour I had sorted it all out but it took research on the internet to find the right utility program on the Canon website to scan to my Mac computer. There is a Windows manual online if you search for it but Canon have not made any reference to this in their supplied quick start.Canon have made the assumption that everyone uses their phone to do everything and this is probably fine for most but if you do want to use your computer it will require more input.

Title: Endless problems with the paper feed.
Review: 6 months down the line from buying this and I am seriously unhappy. The paper feed jams every single time. It ALWAYS pulls extra sheets of paper in with a print job, and then jams. Ive tried different makes of paper and different thicknesses. Only solution is to stand by and add a new sheet each time by hand into the tray when the message comes up on my computer (when I get the paper tray empty prompt).Its also quite a slow printer compared to others Ive had in the past. It ‘snoozes’ but doesnt automatically wake up when I send something to print from the other room, i have to walk in and press it ON, then wait for it to go through its sequence before it finds my internet. Although this could only be a settings problem that I havent discovered how to change, Im not very techy. but its very annoying.

Title: It gobbles expensive cartridges.
Review: Quality Ok BUT it uses tri-color cartridges. Expensive, even the recycles ones.Then the chip does not work. Then ONE color runs out, so junk it all.Loads of features but not easy to access the settings.Good copy and paper feed.Not recommended, I will NEVER buy a Canon Tri color again.

Title: Buyer’s remorse
Review: Bought to replace a 9 year old Canon PIXMA MG5450. Not sure if it is better in any way, certainly worse in others. The screen is small and not very good. The printer relies on displaying QR codes to scan with your phone to access apps and help. The online help material while not awful is not of good quality. Mysteriously my computer sometimes thinks it is offline. Some Canon software thinks the old printer is still connected and refuses to connect to the new one.Print quality .. meh.Update:It’s cranky. It’s temperamental. It’s prone to jamming. It takes too long to be ready after you switch it on. Worst printer I’ve used in the last 20 years

Title: Incredibly rude and unhelpful customer service
Review: I bought this printer and had a lot of difficulty connecting to my PC and ipad so I was put through to the Chat and then telephoned by their “expert”. I explained my difficulty and was told that my drives were corrupted so I asked why wouldn’t it connect to my ipad, the guy, named John, then proceeded to shout at me in such a manner I was reduced to tears. Terrible customer service, will never buy a Canon and will not recommend at all

Review: Einrichtung:Der Drucker ist sehr leicht über die HP von Canon mittels WLAN einzurichten. Den Typ eingeben und Installation läuft von alleine.Druckqualität:Sehr gute Druckqualität. Druckt zügig. Auch 2-seitig (Drucker zieht für zweite Seite das Blatt selbsttätig wieder ein) wird schnell gedruckt.Scannen:Scanner ist zügig und kann in mehreren Auflösungen scannen. Er scannt Duplex. Das allerdings nur manuell. Über die Software werden die Blätter beim manuellen Duplexscan aneinander gefügt.Geräuschentwicklung:Beim Drucken und Scannen ist der Drucker sehr leise.Smartphone:Drucken und Scannen per Smartphone ist über die App (Im App Store erhältlich) ein Kinderspiel.Fazit:Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist top.Einen besseren Drucker hatte ich noch nicht.Für den normalen Heimbedarf voll zu empfehlen.

Review: Elle imprime vite et bien, qualité moyenne, bien pour du bureau, mais pas pour de la pub, affichage qui demandent plus de qualité. Évitez les papiers trop fins ou de chez action qui font buvards avec. Les feuilles d étiquettes passent très bien. Quand une mise à jour informatique arrive, l’imprimante se déconnecte, il.faut reprogrammer.L’appli est pratique. Aucune idée de la consommation en temps réel. Écran un peu petit pour lire, simple d’utilisation. Je recommande.
