Title: Total satisfaction!
Review: Firstly, having read some reviews about connection niggles, I was a little discombobulated about what my experience of using this would be. Yes I used the word discombobulated. I needn’t have been. This was about as simple and as easy as it could have possibly been. It works perfectly to dim my outside festoon lights via Alexa voice controls and now we can set the mood lighting accordingly. Groovy!This is how hard it was:Got the app on my phone. Plug my lights in and turn the gadget on. App finds gadget instantly and asks for WiFi password. Success. Press button on app to link with Alexa. Success. Jump to Alexa app and press ok. Done.I can now ask Alexa to have the lights from 0% – 100%. It. Just. Works.Recommended.

Title: Great but pricey
Review: Great smart plug with built in dimmer, very easy to pair with existing smartlife app used for multiple other devices controls outdoor led garden lights a treat can even use alexa to control. Quite pricey compared to my other smart plugs but that’s probably due to dimming function. Would buy again

Title: Very fiddly to get it to pair
Review: I have many Zigbee devices and am well used to pairing them, but this was a rel pain and I nearly had to give up and return it.However, it works well now – strong signal and reliable.

Title: Very problematic to get working
Review: Very hard to set up. The instructions are completely bonkers and don’t work. The only way to get them into set up mode is to press the button 3 times, and even then you have to repeat the process several times before the software ( I tried two different apps recommended but both were exactly the same). The help pages always suggest that your WiFi is at fault and not the product ( I have excellent Wi-Fi throughout the house with several signal repeaters). My router uses both 2.4 & 5 ghz so no incompatibility from my end. Once you do get the software to respond it’s not long before they drop off line again meaning you have to reinstall each device from scratch again. USELESS!

Title: Works perfectly.
Review: I cant comment on longevity as I’ve only just bought mine. I got the zigbee version and it was quick and easy to setup with my Philips Hue Bridge and works perfectly for dimming my outside LED festoon lights. The plug is inside as it’s not for outside use. This was the only dimmer version I could find but it works well.

Title: Expensive but brilliantly reliable and simple setup
Review: I’ve now bought three of these devices. They connect to the ZigBee network first time. They are fast and responsive. And have been perfectly reliable. Recommended. Not cheap but they work very well indeed.

Title: Excellent dimmable Zigbee plug
Review: I bought this device, and intially followed the instructions but couldn’t get it to pair to my SmartThings hub. However, I emailed Candeo Support at 11am on a Saturday and they responded within the hour saying that you had to perform a hard reset first (pressing the button down 3 times quickly and holding on the last press for 2 seconds).The pairing procedure then worked fine (tapping ‘Scan’ in the SmartThings app).Overall instructions could have been clearer, but impressive support and once paired works great to dim lights.I think this may be one of the few (only?) Zigbee smart dimmer plugs out there….

Title: Great but didnt last
Review: This dimmer worked great for about 14 months for switching my incandescent light fitting off and on and dimming tgem using the app, then began to flicker and flash the connected lights randomly. Ive had to unplug it as it is now unusable.
