Review: Obviously it makes like much easier stripping flex / yy cable so if your doing a lot of panel work, this tool is for you. It deffently speeds up your work. I’ve not used it on swa cables yet, I know the price tag for it I hummed and hard but I would say its worth it yes.

Title: Getting the cut depth right is awkward.
Review: Had to buy these as my company doesn’t like knives on site. It’s a good tool but getting the cut depth right is hard. Easier on armoured as you’re not worried about cutting through to the cores but on standard cable I have to slowly increase the depth of cut until I cut through the outer shield and not the inner cores. Then to strip along its length I sometimes find I have to readjust again. A good tool, takes a lot of care to work properly without causing accidental damage through cutting too deep.Change from cutting around the cable to cutting along it is simple, the blade follows the tool direction.

Title: Great for stripping whole cable
Review: I can’t comment on whole Armoured’s or flex’s – but I bought this for a collection of 25,35 & 50 mm inner core coloured single cables and it breezed through them all hardly even used the “Stanley” knife like old traditional ways – just stripped one side one half from centre then the other flipped and did the same and the plastic just peels right off just need a nice sized thumb nail to dig in – well worth the money for this reasons
