Review: the superfood clay mask has a very thick texture, almost like a paste. in spite of this, it is rather easy to spread and rinse off. the mask dries after about 10 minutes, but remains mostly flexible. it has a cooling feeling on the face. the scent is strong-mostly lemongrass, but not quite as bitter, perhaps because of the addition of other essential oils.

Review: Pretty color, texture, and smell. I also like how tight it felt on my face once it had dried. I did not, however, like that it left shimmer/glitter on my face after rinsed off. Skin was a little red and irritated.

Review: I have to admit I have used this less than 5 times, but it is so easy to apply, it has a glittery tone to it that makes me feel very girly and spa like when using it. it is easy to spread on face and remove. my skin feels so soft following this until the next day. i only use a mask maybe once every other couple of weeks. this did not make me break out or did not clog my pores. i also gave this as a gift to my sister.

Review: The lemongrass scent of this mask is very bright and pleasant, but it’s a little intense for me. However, to my surprise, it hasn’t seemed to irritate my sensitive skin, though a mask like this does leave my face red and tingly during use and for a few minutes after using it. This stuff has a very thick texture, and it can take some work to remove it once it dries, but that’s pretty typical of products like this. It contains bentonite and kaolin clays that draw the gunk and excess sebum from my pores. It also has a bunch of ‘greens’ in it–barley, spinach, kelp, and spirulina. I think they are included to help strengthen my skin. In any case, the product overall leaves my face feeling soft and healthy and looking bright and clean. I will continue to use it regularly, and fortunately, I have quite a supply with this 4-pack. I do think this set is somewhat overpriced at around $70, but the product itself is quite good. (Prices on Amazon fluctuate, of course, and it looks like it’s on sale now for about half of what the price was when I ordered it. Grab it now!) I really love that this stuff is made with all natural ingredients and is totally vegan. Best of all, all Brooklyn Botany products are 100% cruelty-free! Brooklyn Botanicals is passionately opposed to animal testing. I LOVE THAT ABOUT THEM!!
